Ordered some Pattern 27! Think it's gonna look nice on the white frame. Thanks so much!

The factory rear derailleur hanger bolt is steel and can be replaced with aluminum. The front derailleur hanger bolts are either steel or Ti and can be replaced with aluminum.
The seatpost clamp bolt and barrel nut are steel and can be replaced with Ti.

Yes. I've got an AL bolt for the rear hanger and Ti bolt and barrel (shaved 1mm) for the seatpost wedge. I'm not gonna bother with the FD hanger bolts. I did get some Ti hydrauic hose nuts and Ti brake mounting bolts.

Build ready!
Any recommendations for some weight reductions? The Garmin mount seems very heavy.
Currently standing at 7.1kg. bottle Cages are Leftover from my Aeroad. Looks quite nice and with 35g per Cage reasonable lightweight.
Very nice....is that a 54cm?
Thanks! Yes its a Size 54!

On another note: Has anyone cutted down the 380mm seatpost? Seems easy enough and dremel 2 small holes with a grinding tool does not seem so complicated?

You can scroll down to take a look here at stevec1975's thread. He has a beautiful build. I have these exact wheels. Haven't taken any photos of them yet (just arrived last week)

$1138 including fast shipping to the US. I believe $50 cheaper if you choose slower shipping.
Below is the link to the wheel order page. Mine are FSD50CM-30T-HL. I also upgraded to 58T ratchet. Tiny bit cheaper if you don’t.

These o-rings are to secure a light to the rectangular object at the bottom left of your photo. You then put that on the go pro mount below the Garmin.

I can't believe ppl ride without lights during the day. I would probably last about a mile in London without a bright retina searing light to warn drivers where I am (I use 800lm but that's overkill).

that's quite a smart solution. I don't understand why bike lights don't come with gopro adapters standard or even have them integrated. also agree on the daylight running light comment - I never ride without one

thanks.

I think im missing some bits... one for sure is the wahoo adapter, secondly a screw to actually secure the out front mount itself to the rapide cockpit. Any ideas what size/type screw i need?

You're missing a few bits, yea. For example the plate that goes between the mount and whatever headset adapter you're using:

I can't remember the exact specs of that bolt - M5 12mm is my guess.

Most of the missing bits you probably don't need. If you want them for cheap you can find them on AliExpress for less than 10 USD. Or pay 65 USD for the official set from Roval.

would one of those screws in the top left of your pic secure the out front to the bar?

Yes, the longest of them, that's the one I said is an M5 bolt with a length of perhaps 12 mm.

7.1kg with pedals, cages and mount? If so, that does seem high for th size. My stock 56cm is 6.770kg with cages and comp mount but no pedals... 6.95kg with pedals. I'd look at wheels first (rotating mass, especially - tires, rims, spokes), then seat.

@stevec1975 - Great looking SL8. What process did you use for removing the Sram Red graphics and clearcoating the D1 crankarms? I have a new set that I need to do the same thing to before building up my new S-Works SL8 frameset.
