Hi after some help with correct chain length.
I have a 54cm Emonda Sl6 disc (2019 Previous model).
I'm having issues with chain drop/suck when changing from 50 to 34t on my front crankset.
I have an 11-32 rear casette and in the middle of the cassette when changing I drop the chain (damaged frame already).
To avoid any more damage I am trying to find the cause. One possibility is incorrect chain length causing wrong chain tension.
Does anyone know how many links I should have for a 50/34 crankset and an 11-32 casette ulegra 8000 groupset?
Thanks
Chain length 2019 Emonda sl disc

Is the bike still set up as stock? If so, it will have an Ultegra SS rear mech which is rated to 30T max. Looks like the Emonda SL6 didn't come with a long cage mech until this year when it was equipped with 105 Di2.
That might be the source of the issues.

Have you checked the hanger alignment? When did the issue start? Was it immediately after the change of cassette?
