If you want good hex keys I highly recommend the German original INBUS. Still on the first set I ever bought.

As for torque wrenches, the mentioned Topeak D-Torq is really good value.

225g with 4mm allen (3-10Nm with 1Nm increments)

I was thinking, why even get allen keys when one could get a wide array of PB Swiss bits for use with a ratchet or with a torque wrench. Seems far more versatile except for the time it gets putting the right bit together with the ratchet/wrench. I get that a bike mechanic would want the tools at their disposal for direct use but a home mechanic who tinkers with their bike should get away with high quality bits I reckon?

You could do that, but Allen keys are (or can be, at least) cheap, and they are the most used tools on bicycles. Also, it's not uncommon to find bolts at awkward positions were some ratchets won't fit. And I'm pretty sure that anyone considering buying anything PB Swiss already has at least a set of Allen keys anyway.

You're absolutely right about most PB owners likely owning Allen keys already.

My interest in cycling has taken me from noob to relatively enlightened in a short time, so in my case I so far only own wonky commercial bike tools and Bosch bits (seemingly good quality but probably not as precise as PB Swiss or Wera etc) the bits that came with my torque wrench are obviously crap as I've slightly damaged one thru axle during frequent bike trainer installation.

My reflection is that almost every bolt on my bike(s) have got specific torque settings. Allen keys wouldn't give me torque feedback as a dedicated torque wrench does. I occasionally change wheelsets depending on surface and have to adjust the brake calipers and in that case I agree with you, a wrench or multi tool doesn't allow tuning the bolts in a good way. An extender for my wrench solves it, and an Allen key even more practical in that application aside from not nailing the torque (on carbon frames and forks). That's why I'm kind of thinking torque wrench for 90% of the home tinkering powered by high quality bits would do the job. I'll probably ditch my old multi tool and get the PB 470 for the road.

I bought the ProBikeTool torque wrench from Amazon. It broke some time later. Contacted them for warranty. No response. Don't recommend just based on that.

I wouldn’t buy an overpriced version of a bearing press. You would be much better served with a cheaper and more versatile version that support more bb standards like this https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002104572465.html

Well, i don't need so many standards. I bought what was currently among the best when i bought my first Ax bike.
You know Ax bikes have direct press, so there's no "housing". You press two bearings right into the bearing seats of the frame.
Like 30*42*7 or as now, with DUB, 29*42*7.

It was my opinion on the topic, i don't disagree with you :) If i knew that i wouldn’t need anything else and had the spare money i would happily buy the best available or very specifc tool.

I had bikes with different bb pressfit standards, so i lean towards the more versatile tool.

I currently have the Ali version, its not too bad. But the attachements u use on the push bar are mehh... The ring snapped, so now I am looking for more quality.

The O-ring is definitely an expendable part yes. I still didn’t had any issues with them, but i am glad they are easy to replace if needed.
