As bont have posted on their Instragram they have new shoes coming for 2023.
its a addon to the vaypor line.
to me it looks to be more stylish like a "regular" road shoe.
this have been one of the holdback for me with bont, but still wanna try them.
might wait for this one or more info on it before pulling the trigger on a pair of vaypor S

does anyone have any more info or spyshots?
i think they were shown off at the TDU 2023 event aswell.

These look pretty nice:

I have a pair of Helix that were so close to being great but the bathtub never fully agreed with my "sixth toe." The "lowered carbon forefoot shaping" sounds promising on that front. It seems like they've tried to modernize the shoe a bit and make it a little more friendly.

They removed Asian fit sadly, which is the best fit to foot. :noidea:

The regular fit shrinks too fast that my little toe gets hot spot after 1 hrs, while the wide fit is too wide everywhere else. Plus the built-in arc support is uncomfotable and I prefer a proper insole. The Asian fit simply fixes all these issue.

Same here. I have trouble finding good fitting shoes and kept hearing about Bont. But they are not good looking shoes at all in my opinion and that alone has kept me away. These don't look too bad. Finally entered the 21st century.

just waiting for somewhere to try these, or someone to review them.
tried the vaypor s li2 on for a few minutes only in store. seemed really bad with the bathtub feel, but these should maybe fix this.

What these are is a totally different upper with different fastening and softer - and hopefully less AliExpress-$30-shoe like stitching and seams. The toe box is more voluminous. The bathtub is basically unchanged, and they still have massive toe spring. If the basic shape and countour of the Vaypor S didn't suit you, it's very unlikely these will. If the upper was too stiff and hard, or the toe box lacked volume but they otherwise felt good, then this might be the shoe for you.

So what do you suppose they mean when they're talking about the lower profile forefoot? I took it to mean the sides of carbon sole don't come up as high in the forefoot but you clearly read it differently.

Worth a message to the brand to ask I suppose. You seem to have some insider knowledge about these, do you have a connection to Bont?

Bont dealer told me the bathtub is very similar and toe spring identical. Bont the other things. The 'lower profile forefoot' is confusing. Because they've made the toe box taller. Possibly it could mean they've reduced the stack height of the sole even further.

The edge of the bathtub is lower than before. I think you can even see it on the picture in the first post, as the edge of the sole imprints through the upper.

Finally a reason to try Bont. Really like the look of these, although I'd love to option to change boa colour as black boas on the white shoes would look 👌

I found some comments from Bont on their Instagram. Sounds like the forefoot should indeed be more accomodating than before, and there is less arch built into the sole - color me interested. I may even preorder.

Good looking shoe for sure.

I have had good experiences with heat molding in speed skating shoes (before ultimately going full custom), but first didn't really loved the look of previous versions. They always seemed a little old fashioned to me.

Would love to hear real life feedback from users or read some reviews.
