Hi Guys
I want to remove the paint from my Selle Italia saddle and then paint it matt or seal the carbon with something else! What can you recommend me because is matt paint rub-resistant or should I use something else?
Would like to have the optics of the SLR C59 ...
Thx Stefan

If it were me, I'd try and wet sand the gloss so it's matt with some 1500-2000grit or 0000 wire wool.
Nothing to lose if you're already planning to strip it and re-clear it.

The paint can come off so that only the carbon can be seen and the decals are removed...
Should I then seal it with a matt varnish because of the UV protection or is there something else?

The initial post made it sound like you just wanted a matte finish. If you want to remove the decals, then just sand everything back and spray with something like spraymaxx 2k matte clear.
Thanks for the answer, it should already be without decals!
Do you have experience with the product? What interests me is whether the 2k paint is abrasion-resistant and there are no shiny spots after use?

I've used it on frames as it's basically automotive paint in a can. Very abrasionand chemical resistant.
