titanium screws for SRAM Flat Mount caliper mounts
Moderator: robbosmans
Hi there,
I've been looking for black titanium screws for SRAM Flat Mount caliper mounts (m5x15 and m5x32) since a couple of days now without any success.
Does anyone knows where those are available? I want to replace the standard ones. I know that there are silver titanium replacements available, but I want to go with black colored ones.

A couple of idea's for you. Buy the SRAM bolts and color the exposed part with a Sharpie or finger nail polish. It's now black.
Caliper screw is a bit of a safety-critical item. I'd stick with steel for those.

I have purchased these and several other Ti Bolts from them. Customer service and Ti bolts are excellent.
Good luck on your project.

The brake load is transmitted via the "flat" part of the mount, the bolts aren't *that* critical. I surely wouldn't replace them with aluminum, but I'd have zero concerns with a titanium replacement.
