Hi!
I need a set of mudguards for my BMC Roadmachine 02 (2017 model), running with 30mm Vittoria tyres.

Any recommendations please? I have a BMC mudguard mounting kit, but think I may go for one that doesn't require it for ease of fitting and removal.

Best I can find is the SKS Raceblade Pro XL Stealth: https://www.sigmasports.com/item/SKS/Ra ... d-Set/ELTT
or maybe the Crud Roadracer Mk3 Mudguard Set https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/cru ... -prod42448.

Liking the look of the SKS Speedrocker, but not sure if I need such a large set.

Any ideas please? As you can see in the photos the clearance on the back wheel may be an issue.

Anyone have any experience with these products, or found the mudguards to fit their Roadmachine please?

Thank you in advance!

The SKS Raceblade Pro XL are great. Very stable and installed/removed in 30 seconds.

I prefer them to permanently installed mudguards since I don't want the extra weight and drag when it's dry. So a quick on-demand solution like the Raceblade Pro XL is fantastic for me. Honestly, I don't think you will find a better solution.

I like these for bikes without eyelets as they don't touch the frame so no rattling or marring of paint. Quite light and will clear 32 mm tyres no problem: https://www.bicyclequickguard.co.uk/

They're relatively expensive though at £25 per guard and £10 per thru axle. The rear thu axles with 1.5 mm thread pitch are very difficult to find.

Cheers chaps! I've gone for the SKS Raceblades for the easy on/off option.
Will post pics soon!

That's a nice looking solution!

Here's a pic of the Raceblade XLs on my Roadmachine (it's the model after 2017 I think). The clearance between the front mudguard and the downtube can be a bit tight but with enough tinkering it works out.
