Finally put in about 500KM. So far so good. The front is actually comfortably stiff. Does not feel like a noodle for me. In Sprints it feels great! longest ride so far was 80 miles/129km. My fit feels good on the long ride. Happy with the back overall. The seattube/seatpost has some flex to it, does absorb some harsh road buzz nicely could be a downfall for this frame for me.
I am not sure if its a big guy thing, Im about 189CM/6 in 2 ish. There is a fair amount of seat post flex. When I look down into my seat post, I see it swaying. In a seated climb doing 400watts as an interval, I feel it sway and look down to see it sway. I have not had this sensation since the my 2018 Cervelo R5 Rim brake, but it was not as pronounced as this.
Slightly tempted to email Elilee if they could make me a stiffer seat post.
Anyone have this or solutions for a past occurence?

About swaying seatpost... Not the same bike or anything. But mine is doing the same (+80kg), I think it is when you push the boundaries to make these ultra mega light seatpost, then this happens. When you go sub 150 gram for a complete post then its not much material to work with. Normal bikes, or anything other than S-works use normal posts and they are stiff as hell but typically north of 200g which is standard.delouie9154 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2023 1:51 amFinally put in about 500KM. As long as it doesn't break its fine with me
I have to say, after riding it for the last month, the bike is fantastic. I don't plan on buying any other bikes. I had one last issue. I am a heavier rider, 215 pounds, and I had a problem with the seat post slipping with the standard torque specs. They sent me the actual book with the specs. It had different torque for heavier riders. I rounded out the cheap star-pattern seat post bolts. I measured it and got a standard hex bolt off Amazon to replace those. Now that I have done that, there have been no issues for a month. I placed tape on the seat post with a millimeter gap, and the seat post has not dropped.
I just ordered the XXE in black/Large.
Does anyone have any close up pictures of the derailleur hanger? Is it a relatively open source design? Would love to source a direct mount Shimano hanger if possible and I'm prepared to gamble on AliExpress options that look similar

Be sure to watch his Giant review where he gives real talk regarding Chinese open mold framesets. Refreshing to hear for real.

You all are far too kind thanks! Of course I have been enjoying my Giant Propel, but I'd still like to continue testing other frames/wheels out.AZR3 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 24, 2023 5:17 amhttps://youtube.com/@PatrickLino?si=aHkLhf0h0xJknAzA
On my list for next year is Craft Racing Wheels, perhaps the Elilee Blize, and maybe even the latest Madone. Don't ask why LOL
