Thinking of going 12 sp budget style with the Ratio kit and my current sram red 22 11sp.
Will this work ok?
50/36sp 11sp FSA chainrings
12sp Shimano Ultegra 8100 cassette
Chain : KMC 12sp
OR YBN 12sp
OR 8100 12sp
Seems from reading this thread, the chain can be a big factor.

just wondering, how much did you pay?
Do you think the sram version will work just as well if I retain the stock jockey wheels? there is one on ebay available now.
The sram cassette has a different spacing that shimano thus it Will not work. For shimano drivetrain you need shimano compatible ratchet and a new jockeys since the chain is Little different. The ratio jockeys are assymetric ones.
I have a couple of bikes with 52/36 chainsets and the AXD FD works fine, so I don't think you'll have any problem with 50/34.
They usually respond to emails within a day or two. I don't know when the official release will be. Depending where you are located, you could probably get the part delivered to you within a week or two of contact.defy1 wrote: ↑Thu May 11, 2023 11:14 amjust wondering, how much did you pay?

Regarding the SRAM version ratchet working with a Shimano cassette, they said it's possible but they weren't happy with the performance and it could be difficult to dial in. I also asked about the jockey wheels and they said that the stock ones wouldn't work. Basically, if you decide to go with a Shimano cassette, buy the Shimano version. I have 448 miles on it so far and the rear shifts great under all the conditions I have thrown at it so far.

Just thought I would chime in here and post updates if people wanted.
I bought a Force rim brake shifting kit.
The set up is as follows:
Force AXS Shifters, FD and RD.
I changed out the jockey wheels to JRC jockey wheels.
Casette is a new Chorus 11-29 and a new chorus 12 sp chain.
Chorus 4 arm 11sp cranks with 34/52 rings.
It took a lot of dialling in and still some tweaking as I have only done 2x30km spins but it shifts pretty much perfect.
A lot of in app microshifting was needed in both big and small chainiring.
I had the compensate shifting* switched on but it dropped the chain onto the inside. The sudden release of tension was probably just to much given the front gearing I am using.I will install a chaincather as well.
One thing I have noticed is that the rd wont go into the 11sprocket when in the small ring. And by not go in the red light flashes and the mech wont drop. The app is saying '11' when showing what gear. I imagine its a safety thing ( and I know its a combo that shouldnt be used anyway just interesting to see).
*The one where when you change the front and the rear changes by 2 cogs to compensate
