I've just spoke to the Trek chat and they say the bike will be launched the first week of April - not the 20th of March like my LBS has said. It won't appear on the website until then either.

In other news, they said the handlebar width on the 50cm frame is 38cm - which is an improvement over my current Emonda which feels like it has 98cm bars on it..

Funny it's already out for sale now then ;) Too easy to order the bikes to early. Also sold a frameset at work:

Wondering if it's profitable to go bike ordering in Sweden as a Dane with the currencies in mind

Several bridges away unfortunately. Cool shop you guys have, with the routes too on the webpage. The 600 km might be a good summertrip.

I had an email from the store that my bike has been dispatched and should reach them very soon. Heading down to store tomorrow to drop off my accessories.

Dealers can order it, but I think the backorder dates are June at the earliest.

I'm placing an order with a shop now and I'll post back when I know more. It sounds like June or middle May tho.

Long time, no thread! Two things:

1. Does anyone know if/when this bike will be released in the US?

2. If one were vain and silly (like me) and wanted to go for the no-cables look in the cockpit of this bike, what would be some good options, Trek/Bontrager or otherwise? Would anything besides the bar/stem need to be changed, such as headset or top cover/dust cap? Integrated stem/bars or not are both fine options. Thank you!

The bike is available in the US. Only the ALR 5 with 11spd 105 mechanical and the frameset for now. The Bontrager RCS Pro stem can be used with an appropriate headset cover. It weighs a ton though. I personally wouldn’t bother with any special stems. Aero bars with cable entry ports really close to the clamp + a regular stem will look just fine IMO.
