It's a "women's" bike so they're not doing bigger sizes.RDY wrote: ↑Tue Feb 21, 2023 12:32 pmAre they not doing a 58, or they are and it's only in some territories? A possible 58 would probably fit me perfectly.StiffWeenies wrote: ↑Tue Feb 21, 2023 8:17 amThe new EnviLiv just dropped
First ever Liv aero bike to be offered in Advanced SL layup (Envie & old EnviLiv maxed out at Advanced Pro) and the top model is offered with a conventional seatpost like the TCR equivalent Langma Advanced SL. If you like the Propel Advanced SL but dislike the ISP, this is the one to get.
The Advanced SL frameset comes with a lighter Vector SLR seatpost and the Contact SLR Aero bar is now offered in narrower 360mm & 380mm sizes.
But that paintjob? Most of the Liv ones are pretty nice ... that looks like a poorly trained ML bot did it.
Rode the liv langma which is the liv all-rounder (tcr equivalent).StiffWeenies wrote: ↑Tue Feb 21, 2023 6:37 pmI don't think Liv bikes generally come in that large a size. Usually taller women just ride a Giant like Jayco's Teniel Campbell who I believe rode a Liv liveried TCR last season.
The liv langma and now this one basically replicates the geometry of a tarmac sl7 for size 54/M (the only difference being the head tube angle in the liv 72.5 when the tarmac 73 degrees) which leaves me to believe that the tarmac (and aethos) are women's bike given to men to ride.
I'll make some popcorn now.

Isn't NL their biggest market after China? 58 would be for an average height female.Lina wrote: ↑Tue Feb 21, 2023 7:56 pmIt's a "women's" bike so they're not doing bigger sizes.RDY wrote: ↑Tue Feb 21, 2023 12:32 pmAre they not doing a 58, or they are and it's only in some territories? The average adult female in the Netherlands is 170cm/5'7". That corresponds roughly to a 52cm frame.
The largest Enviliv is equivalent to a rather short reach and tall stack 56cm. It should accommodate riders up to 183cm/6' easily. Two of the tallest riders in the WWT are Teniel Campbell at 183cm and Ellen van Dijk at 182cm. Marlen Reusser is 180cm.
Anyone taller can just buy a Giant Propel.
Just saw that they're selling the Advanced Pro frameset in Italy: https://www.giant-bicycles.com/it/prope ... o-frameset
I can't seem to find it elsewhere. Hopefully it will soon be available in more countries.

Thanks so much, this TCR stem mount is the best quality and decently priced stem bolt mount. It should work with most stems, bolt spacing can be varied.bobones wrote: ↑Fri Feb 17, 2023 2:44 pmI got one of those mounts with my TCR, and I'm using it with a standard Zipp stem on another bike. I like having the computer flush with the top of the stem so this works well for me. One thing I didn't realise for months is that the mount is telescopic, so you can pull and push it to suit different sized computers.
It costs 1/3 the price of the Zipp SL stem specific faceplate computer mount and works better.
I'll offer one extra tip about the TCR/Propel stem mount - I had no issues from the start with a Garmin 530 head unit. As I added a small Bontrager front light underneath (using the GoPro mount), the mount would often slip down at the hinge when I hit a pothole or railway tracks. Putting a bit of carbon paste inside the hinge solved that, with no need to go over torque, and it's been holding well ever since.

But if the steerer is non-round, how do they make it possible? The round clamping of the stem will just not tighten equally.StiffWeenies wrote: ↑Sat Mar 04, 2023 10:47 amNo need for filler pieces like Cervelo
Any round clamping OD2 stem will do
I'm very noob in this regard but I'm not seeing how does this work. Any clarification is very appreciated.
Does the stock spacer cover work with normal stems (for semi-integrated setup)?StiffWeenies wrote: ↑Sat Mar 04, 2023 10:47 amNo need for filler pieces like Cervelo
