Done, was able to get 25mm off without needing trimming cables, gonna test ride a week or two before chopping off excess for good!

I dont know exact weight, but my estimation is 2,0-2,1 kg.
The whole wheelsystem weights 3,6 kg ( f: 1.544, r: 2.074; including wheels, tyres, 105 discs and 105 cassette)
Weight difference adv2 and sl is about 2 kg, and half of it/1 kg is on the wheels/system

thank you! these numbers are good enough for me

Hi Guys,
Has anyone tried yet to upgrade their handlebar stem set up on the propel to an integrated combo ? I have the Advanced Pro O Di2 and am entertaining the idea to go to a full carbon integrated cockpit.
I have looked at this one from Giant (contact slr / https://www.giant-bicycles.com/fr/combo ... t-slr-2020) that is around 370g depending on length and also know farsports markets one (F1) with a 1 1/4 adaptor. Would anyone have user knowledge on these two or other light combos ?
L Size / 7.96 kgs with ultegra pedals and garmin mount
Thanks !

I've looked at a few suitable options online but am confused regarding the 1 1/4 steering compatibility on the propel 2023 :
. For integrated combo: I see farsports/ EXS for Chinese manufacturers or darimo nexum ( 8 weeks order time) and schmolke (available 1 1/4 in my size) for European manufacturers
= both European options have the added advantage of providing reinforcement for tri bars if requested / they also weight far less ( 230g for the schmolke and 210g for the Darimo ) but offer a "less" aero oriented design
. For the stem + handlebar kit : I see options from Darimo (_IX2) / provibe also provides a light option 1 1/4 with the super light 1 1/4
Am I mistaken regarding compatibility? Thanks !

I dont know what is Giants official guide, and are there some structural reason not to use round stem.
I have used/tried normal 1 1/4 stem/integrated bar (pro vibe evo), and I suppose that all 1 1/4 stems fit to steerer . Those only left a small hole front of the stem (inside between d-shape steerer and round stem). D-shape is mainly for gable routing to frame ?
If I build my Propel again, I propably use Giants own stem (al or carbon/150/200 g, 110-120mm) and separate handlebar.

Some guys in China are also 3D printing steerer inserts when using round clamp OD2 cockpits, claiming stiffness increase...
Hopefully EXS and Farsports can come up with a Propel shim for their cockpits too
