Maybe I won't be as disappointed as I thought... but won't know til this is actually released tomorrow with pricing.

New site is up and has this information in their FAQ. 6.5 hours with the light on at 1440p is interesting. Would definitely be better than my current Fly12 CE which typically gives me maybe 4.5 hours at 1080p.

Still wish it took a replacement battery or some form of battery pack for really long rides. But 6.5 hours is long enough for 85% of my riding.
Compared with previous Fly12 models the Fly12 Sport has optimised battery life, new intelligent features to increase usability and improved recording capabilities.

Improvements include:

Size: 25% lighter than the Fly12 CE, the Fly12 Sport weighs only 148 grams/5.02 ounces

Battery life: Software optimised to provide 7 hours of continuous recording in camera only mode and 6.5 hours of continuous recording with the light on in low pulse mode. (Camera resolution set at 1440p.)

Resolution: Fully upgraded Quad High Definition imaging system.

Screen: Intuitive OLED screen.

stabiliized 1440p ought to look alright.. 6hrs+ is ok by me. Now it just needs every metric on my bike.. HRM, Power, etc . I really like the old Garmin VIRB in that respect, super easy to link it on.

Probably not as good as the garmin integration, but it does do Strava overlays.
I'm really curious how good the battery life is at 4k resolution. My current 12CE gets me through all but my longest rides, but it does have a bigger battery.

I dont want to run strava though.. I'd like to have a usable phone after a long ride.

When you put the preorder in your cart it says it will ship the first week of October.

Welp, I pre-ordered a Fly12 sport. Guess I'll see how well/badly it goes.

No reviews? Seems like the only google results for the Fly12 Sport are from cycliq's page and this forum

Can you give an estimate as to how long after it starts shipping that we can expect a GPLama video review on YouTube???

15th Sept I had an message fron them asking if I would like to try one for review prior to the launch on Sept 22nd.

I said "Yes"... and here we are on the 26th... I haven't seen it or had any updates from the company.

I've received two emails in the past week letting me know that the new Fly12 is now shipping. Has anyone received theirs yet? If so, any initial thoughts on it?
