while the new is 15... I thought the old post for forward compatible ... so that would mean 0 offset post on outgoing model should fit the new one. Should be plenty of those around.

Where did you find the Ti bolts? Did you swap the three big fork bolts or just the stem to handlebar bolts?CR987 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 10, 2022 10:18 pmMy 2021 S5 Ultegra Di2 was 7.95kg. The 50mm Reserve wheels were replaced by 1280g 45mm wheels which made the bike 7.5kg
I swapped the dual sided ultegra power crank with non power 9200 DA and swapped the R8000 calipers for DA9270..
Swapped some of the steel bolts in the handlebar system with titanium. With 28mm GP5000TR's it weighs a fraction under 7.2kg. That weight includes my 200g Spez Mirror saddle (non negotiable)
I know the manual specifically says not to swap the three M6x50 bolts, but if you found some Ti bolts that work and haven't had any issues I'd like to know where you found them?

Got my Cervelo S5 today. Customs build under 7kg. Has anyone in the world built one lighter?
How I did it?
Rotor carbon aldhu crankset with power meter, carbon Ti chainrings.
Galfer rotors
Extralite hubs on creative hoops.
Mix and match of DA and Ultegra groupset. Can make it light with full DA.
Hylix seatpost and sells Italia SLR saddle
120/38 bar and stem.
Size 56 for your reference.

Here is my custom built: 7200 gr, size 56, full dura ace 9200 (dura ace pedals), QUARQ DZero DUB power meter, SRAM DUB Red crank arms, Farsports (35mm deep) wheels (1218 gr), Schwalbe TLE tyres 25mm (tubeless setup), Berk Dila (padded) saddle.
7200 gr is the weight achieved with the Farsports wheels, not the DT Swiss 62mm shown in the pictures. With the DT Swiss wheels the weight is 7980 gr. Yet, with my new ordered wheelset (Elite Drive 50D, 50 mm deep) the final weight is expected to be at 7300 gr. Not bad for an aero bike with deep section wheels.

Wow that's surprisingly good weight!
How does the ride feel? Any comparison with your previous bike?
I find this kind of combination (super aero road bike that WW'ed) rides a bit different from all around bike (SL7 for example, that do full aero). Still can't decide either way.

I absolutely hate that i love the look of this bike so much. If they would sell a lower tier frameset, I`d probably get myself one.Slotty wrote: ↑Sat Jun 17, 2023 3:07 pmGot my Cervelo S5 today. Customs build under 7kg. Has anyone in the world built one lighter?

Can someone comment on the headtube stiffness? I heard some bad things about the new Scott Foil because of its small sterrer diamter and wondered how the S5 would compare in that regard.

The S5 is rock-solid compared with my BMC SLR01. Much stiffer, moves like a train on rails. NO FLEX AT ALL (at the seatpost or at the stem/handlebars). It not that agile while climbing, but it so good in the flats.....
I hated the feeling of the flexing seatpost when putting too much power on the pedals while seated. Now there is no flex at all. And quite surprisingly, it is very comfortable too.
