I have always dealt with side rubbing by changing the angle of seat in terms of the top tube position.

Unfortunately with these funky shaped seat tubes and posts, that is no longer an option.....

Hey folks,

I just received my Argo Adaptive 00 and surprized (not in a good way) how poorly it's made: I found 2 places where it broke already, print is uneven, so it is even out of shape in some places. And it isn't sitting on the base straight. Do yours look similar? Are they breaking further?

You just inspired me to look at mine more closely; don't have those issues. That said I've previously warrantied stuff with Fizik via my LBS and it was a totally painless experience.

Where did you buy your saddle? Mine is in better condition after 100 hours of use. Yours also has a weird wrinkle on the non-mesh part. Would send that back ASAP.

Has anyone know more about the difference between 00 and r1 adaptive?

I saw it's 15g claimed weight lower, and a slightly lower profile, does anyone know if the padding would feel firmer in line with other 00 saddles?

Also, does anyone else with the adaptive notice that it tears the chamois stitching? i've noticed on all my pairs, that the surface is so grippy, the stitching tears. which is kind of annoying and expensive.

Did this all get resolved with a new saddle? Any feedback on it? compare to R1 adaptive at all?

I just returned it, didn't even try to ride it once.

I just bought the r1 adaptive saddle and im trying to put it on my venge. I have the specislized carbon rail seatclamps but it doesnt look like it sits properly. Am i doing something wrong or do i need to get a different clamp?

Fizik makes oversized rails, which is annoying but shouldn't be a safety issue once you torque it up.

To answer my own question, i ordered the 00 Adaptive and it arrived, and it's waaaay stiffer than i was expecting. The cushioning is about 25% less so it's a pretty firm. I'm yet to try it but i worry it may be too stiff for me. Might be up on the For Sale section soon
