can you elaborate on your previous saddles?Vjl wrote:Been on it for two weeks and it's very confortable. I decided to go with the 150 mm, so far it's the right choice for me.
I have an unused Aliante adaptive that I may try later this week but am unsure if the Argo might be a fitter fit.

You convinced me! I just ordered one and should have it in about a week.
I am currently riding a Pro Stealth saddle and while it's pretty comfortable, I am curious about the Adaptive saddles and this new Fizik looks the best option to try.
How is it fixed to the cardboard? Ziptie?Hexsense wrote:This is 140mm version.
First impression, It's huge. Especially when compare to my SQlab 612 r 12cm.
Will test on the bike soon.
Is the material soft?
I think the stuff on the Antares is rather hard
No Ziptie.
Rails just slot into the hole in the cardboard.
Material is locally soft if you flex it by one cell, but structurally stiff as you try to compress multiple cells.
It should provide small bump compliance, but good mid travel support.

How wide is it?Hexsense wrote:Test Result (45minutes ride on trainer) : It's not for me.
Nose is too wide. I'd rather ride with narrower nose Sqlab 612 r 12cm instead.
This was a issue for me on the bontraeger aelous. Contemplated trying the Fizik but their saddle finder recommends a 150 for me, which I think is odd with my 113mm ish Sitbones….
I've got an new Argo Vento 00 that is really nice for my new Pinarello F. I tried an adaptive Antares about six months ago when I was still riding that on my other bike. I was getting saddle sores from the gripping of the adaptive to my Assos shorts/tights and returned it.
Already shipped it out so I didn't measure it.
But my personal issue that I just realize is: I want wide sit area with nothing or very narrow nose in front of it.
T shape saddle are exactly like that, no wide nose to spread my legs apart.
Pear shape saddle are hit or miss. If the nose is extremely wide (like Pro Aerofuel, Pro Stealth) then I'll just sit at the nose and I have nothing between my legs, that works.
But Argo Adaptive is not like that. The nose is not wide enough to sit on. Then when I sit further back, the wide nose spread my legs out.

Has anyone ever given a long term review on these 3D printed saddles?
The Power Mirror saddles haven't fared well on the surface, with notable creasing and material breakdown within short use, I can't imagine long term being any better.
The PRO Stealth and the Bontrager Aeolus I've tried seem to have very stiff shells with little flex, which makes me feel better about longevity.
