Anyone has any info on when the 52/36 cranks will be available? They have been listed on Shimano site for a while now, but noting in retail stores.

This isn't an answer to your question but there's good prices right now on DA and Ultegra cranks. I got a DA 52-36 11 speed crank and it shifts perfectly.

Does anyone know if there is compatibility with the 11 rear derailleur with 12 cassette and shifters?

I would love to see some one try to retrofit the rear shifter mechanism from the 12 speed 105 STI into an 11 speed DA9100 mechanical.

I'm longing for the 12 speed mechanical rim brake groupset that Shimano never made.

That conversion would be good.....

Any info about the reach of the 105 Di2 and mechanical shifters?
Do they have the same reach as Ultegra and Dura Ace? (+5mm compared to the 11-speed generation)

I hope I understand your question correctly: I used to run 105 Di2 12 speed shifters. I replaced them last week with Ultegra Di2 shifters. I don't feel any difference whatsoever.

If it is not very similar, Shimano has reshaped the 12 lever compared to the 11 lever, the grip and operation from above or gripped below on the handlebar seems improved
