If it took 38 or 40s in real life, it would be the the perfect smooth gravel bike and is probably the best BWR bike.
The Gravel Cyclist youtube review video shows test fitting of 38 and 42 (as measured) Gravelking SKs

Thanks. Does that come with it, or is it a separate purchase? If not, part number?

I doubt complete bikes with the RCS stem come with the standard cover or spacers.

Anyone else having a squeaking noise coming from the cover on the Seatpost/Isospeed?

If it's the cover surely it can be resolved by greasing everything up. Still, squeaking means things are moving and that could result in undesireable wear and inevitably more squeaking. But I guess that movement is the goal with Isospeed. I used to ride a Boone as a winter bike. Great bike but I am not a fan of mechanical suspension on a road bike. That is just asking for problems.

Looks terrific. Which wheels and bar did you go with? Saw one in person recently and the paint job alone almost got me.
Lots of bikes: currently riding Enve Melee, Krypton Pro, S Works Crux, S Works Epic Evo, SL7.
In build: SW SL8

Madone for Cherry Pie. This bike is going nowhere near that course.

16.8lbs with the stock thru-axles, long seatpost (short wasn't in stock) and 28mm GP5K S TRs + 2x50mL of sealant.

If it comes from isospeed it could be the known issue of first production series. If I recall correctly it is connected with the seatpost clamp. Visit your Trek dealer and they will change it and solve it. I have read about it somewhere online in Domane SLR review.

@TobinHatesYou Stunning bike, beautiful proportions, I like the massive bb and headtube compared to SLR version. Number 4 is decal or under the clear coat? It seems like a build with no budget constraint. Do you thing Light Bicycle wheels equals Bontrager Aeolus RSL wheels? They seem to have really great reviews.

Unlike the team bikes, the #4 is under the clearcoat. I was hoping Trek would sell the miscellaneous decal sets, but no go. While I could have gone for the Aeolus RSL 51s, the WR50s are 50-60g lighter and better proportioned for 28mm tires. The WR50s were also 40% the price of the Aeolus RSL 51s....
