Also saw the new Decathlon frames and was certainly shocked by the awesome looks. The price however was not at the same bang for the buck that I am used to from Decathlon.

On the same note, the new Koga frame is really nice in the flesh and the lower tier models still have the same frame shape but I was pleasantly surprised with the price. If I remember correctly is was about €4800 for a 105 DI2 bike.
If they're selling 105 Di2 version of the Koga bike for under 5k euros I'm buying one.

I fear that the Koga is going to look HORRIBLE in bigger frame sizes.

I apologize for this question being so random but I wonder if there will be an update to the BMC timemachine anytime soon. I feel like that bike has been out forever now. Does anyone know anything about any potential BMC releases this year?

Show us a photo of a bike that doesn’t look horrible in the largest sizes.

Koga has this picture on their homepage. I'm afraid the headtube will look huge even on the smaller sizes. Reminds me of the rim Look 795.

Question is if it comes with a low stem (-12 - 17 degree)?
Are you sure any of the available pictures show a smaller frame?

Atleast they have a 2 piece cockpit

They are mounting this to
SL7 primarily so far, it seems.
Is it so unusal designing bikes with a wide top tube?

I would think the point of the statement is how slim/aero/light the cockpit is in comparison to the frame :noidea:

It looks like they may have stretched the depth of these bars a little compared to most others - I read that UCI rules had relaxed on this aspect a little. I see how they could claim a 2w improvement vs the current Rapide 2-piece setup in the win(d) tunnel, but I confess not knowing whether it makes much of a real-world difference once a rider is behind those bars.

I wish more companies would focus on designing and aero optimising two-piece setups (e.g. Enve Aero stem, faceplate bolts hidden from sight and steerer tube wedge to optimise fit) but hey ho.

It just looks thay way because the topcap is narrow. But you can see the stem gets much wider towards the bottom. So the top tube is probably the same width as SL7.

Isn't "thiccc" just expressing that she likes the look of the top tube - probably mainly the colors?

Van Rysel made their PR on their new lineup. No tech details but they launch 7 (!) frames, shoes, helmet, kits and 2 turbo trainers
- the RCR from 4 to 9k (if that’s equipped in 9200 and Swiss side wheels that’s an incredible price)
Image

Image

- the FCR seems to be the all rounder with aero details, 4.2k in Ultegra.
Image

Image

- XCR, the TT bike, from 5.5 to 7k
- Then you have the xcross, the e-bike (100km range), the NCR (comfort)

Frame quality will obviously be key but that is showing some serious commitment (or a pile up of projects developed during Covid…)
