If they're selling 105 Di2 version of the Koga bike for under 5k euros I'm buying one.Bjobjo wrote: ↑Mon Jan 23, 2023 4:08 pmAlso saw the new Decathlon frames and was certainly shocked by the awesome looks. The price however was not at the same bang for the buck that I am used to from Decathlon.
On the same note, the new Koga frame is really nice in the flesh and the lower tier models still have the same frame shape but I was pleasantly surprised with the price. If I remember correctly is was about €4800 for a 105 DI2 bike.
new frame rumors for 2023?

I apologize for this question being so random but I wonder if there will be an update to the BMC timemachine anytime soon. I feel like that bike has been out forever now. Does anyone know anything about any potential BMC releases this year?

The only pictures of the Koga are in bigger sizes?
Canyon's look great in size XL too.TobinHatesYou wrote: ↑Mon Jan 23, 2023 7:25 pm
Show us a photo of a bike that doesn’t look horrible in the largest sizes.

Question is if it comes with a low stem (-12 - 17 degree)?
Are you sure any of the available pictures show a smaller frame?
Atleast they have a 2 piece cockpit

I would think the point of the statement is how slim/aero/light the cockpit is in comparison to the framewheelsONfire wrote: ↑Tue Jan 24, 2023 8:18 amIs it so unusal designing bikes with a wide top tube?FlatlandClimber wrote: ↑Mon Jan 23, 2023 10:32 pmhttps://www.instagram.com/p/CnmOlB6MGi3/?hl=en

It looks like they may have stretched the depth of these bars a little compared to most others - I read that UCI rules had relaxed on this aspect a little. I see how they could claim a 2w improvement vs the current Rapide 2-piece setup in the win(d) tunnel, but I confess not knowing whether it makes much of a real-world difference once a rider is behind those bars.FlatlandClimber wrote: ↑Mon Jan 23, 2023 10:32 pm

I wish more companies would focus on designing and aero optimising two-piece setups (e.g. Enve Aero stem, faceplate bolts hidden from sight and steerer tube wedge to optimise fit) but hey ho.
It just looks thay way because the topcap is narrow. But you can see the stem gets much wider towards the bottom. So the top tube is probably the same width as SL7.NotYou wrote: ↑Tue Jan 24, 2023 9:09 amI would think the point of the statement is how slim/aero/light the cockpit is in comparison to the framewheelsONfire wrote: ↑Tue Jan 24, 2023 8:18 amIs it so unusal designing bikes with a wide top tube?FlatlandClimber wrote: ↑Mon Jan 23, 2023 10:32 pmhttps://www.instagram.com/p/CnmOlB6MGi3/?hl=en

Van Rysel made their PR on their new lineup. No tech details but they launch 7 (!) frames, shoes, helmet, kits and 2 turbo trainers
- the RCR from 4 to 9k (if that’s equipped in 9200 and Swiss side wheels that’s an incredible price)
- the FCR seems to be the all rounder with aero details, 4.2k in Ultegra.
- XCR, the TT bike, from 5.5 to 7k
- Then you have the xcross, the e-bike (100km range), the NCR (comfort)
Frame quality will obviously be key but that is showing some serious commitment (or a pile up of projects developed during Covid…)
