I'm currently riding an S-wroks SL6 (rim brake) and i'm looking to upgrade to an SL7 or Addcit RC. Do we expect a new SL8, Addict RC, and Canyon Ultimate this year, (among others). Would it be wise to wait until new models start to appear or given all the supply chain issues do you expect delays in new models?

SL7 was released in 2020. Very unlikely Spec will announce SL8 this year.

Madone is surely due a full upgrade. Talk of Systemsix becoming more of a SL7 style all rounder too and Cannondale consolidating their range.

They got a UCI approval middle of 2021 for the madone with the T47 BB. So I'm not sure if there's one coming this year. But it does feel a bit old.

Yeah the Madone is nearly 7 years old now if you ignore the disc / t47 upgrade.

The previous generation Addict RC was sold for 7 years, the present one is only in its 3rd (the RC, the non-RC Addict was upgraded this year). Seeing how Scott struggles to get any bikes delivered this year, I don't expect anything new in that range before 2024. Also, the 2022 Addict RC Pro has gorgeous colours.

While the T47/OCLV 800 last year was a facelift, the change from 9 series to SLR disc with H1.5 and toptube isospeed was a complete redesign. The current Madone is definitely not a 7 year old bike.

Ah good point, I forgot about the isospeed thing.

The current Madone was released in 2018 as a MY19. If it sticks to a 3-year update cycle, then it’s due. With the mid-cycle refresh, the pandemic and the relaxation of UCI rules on tube shapes, I thought maybe the next Madone would be delayed, but the rumors of a new one coming at the TdF are very credible.

The SL7 was launched mid-2020and I'd be really, really surprised if an update is coming before mid-2023 - there are a few other models that are due before that (Roubaix and Venge).

I thought the Venge died with the release of the SL7
