Just shipped FSD25CM-27T-SUD. My first ever direct purchase from China. Sandy was very helpful, and great to deal with.

22mm inner width, 27mm outer width. 25mm deep. Hookless rim.
RD230 hubs.
Shimano freehub
For disc brakes.
CX-Super spokes 21/21
462g front / 553g rear - total 1015g as shipped, excluding rim tape. Add 8g combined weight for both the supplied 40mm valves.

Jeez, these wheels are light and only 21 spokes: 14 on drive side and 7 radial on other side. I'm not generally hard on equipment, and I'm light-ish. No mountain descents where I live. So, worth a punt, I thought. I've got access to other disc wheels too. These will be going on an Aethos Expert, about 800g lighter than the stock wheelset

I'll post a ride review in a few days time.

Hi
I recently ordered the Ultralight Feder FSD30CM-28T-SUD wheel set.
My wheelset is supposed to be made with out holes in the rim bed.
I'm really interested in your review.

Looks very nice! What was the promised weight and how will it hold up towards forces? Also, if choosing hookless you're goimg TL I think? Why not a rim without holes?

OK, thanks - so I'll write a brief ride report just as soon as we get a 'dry road day' and its warmer than 10 degrees C, here in the UK.

Website nominal weight when I placed my order was 1040g (plus or minus 30g). Today I notice the website spec now says 1010g. Maybe they weighed my wheels before despatch, or maybe my rim is lighter with spoke holes  I'm pretty happy with the weight.

Actually although its not that big of a deal for me, I was assuming a rim without holes when I placed the order: thats the configuration on the website. I agree no holes is ideal, running tubeless.

So as advice, I'd suggest you go over all of the spec ordered with Sandy at Farsports to be certain that this is what they are going to build for your order, if that is a key requirement for you.

I'll be using Veloflex Evo 28c tubeless tyres running 45-50 psi to start with, for comfort. This is what I'm running on my other disc wheels (the back roads are not smooth in my part of the country) and this is why I run all tubeless on the road now.

The 25mm deep rims seem to only come with access holes. All the 27/28 mm external Feder product pages on wheelsfar.com state this except the RD230 wheelset page.
"Rim Spec: Tubeless Ready, no holes in rim bed (Except 25mm deep)"

OK, sorry not managed a test ride yet, but here is an interim update. Rims are 70% UD finish, I forgot to mention before.

Tyres are Veloflex Evo TLR 28C 288 grams. I'm using a flash-charger pump for the tubeless install. One of the tyres was routine to mount and stayed inflated overnight. At first, the other tyre wouldn't seat, due to air rushing past the valve into the rim cavity. A valve with an oblong shaped bung gave a snugger fit in the rim well, and the issue was solved. The supplied valve with a round bung isn't faulty. It just got into an argument with the rim tape I used.

The rim is 27mm outer diameter. The tyre sits virtually flush on this rim. I'm hoping for some dry weather soon, and then I'll post a short ride report.

I'm amazed they can make a disc brake wheel with 7 radial spokes on one side. I'd be amazed any rear wheel could work like that.

I see they are holograms of a feather. That's quite cool, thanks for highlighting.
Maybe Farsports customer service will oblige you with these stickers if you talk to them?

I'm itching to go for a ride. The roads are just too slick and frosty here to risk it.
I've only managed a quick flick around the block in my jeans and trainers to check discs aren't rubbing, and the gears still work (I'm also trialling a BDop 11-30 alloy cassette on these wheels).

I got my wheelset already. So I dont think they will ship 50cents worth of stickers from China to Europe haha. But they look cool yes.
