That mucoff idea would be sweet as a headset cap. An airtag fits perfectly in an 1-1/8 upper headset clamp.

What, no it doesn't. AirTags are over 1-1/4" in diameter.

Muc off hides the Airtag inside the (tubeless) tyre:

Okay so AirTags are actually pretty huge and this obviously won't work with road tires. The minimum recommended tire width is 38mm, and I still wouldn't run one of these. Low pressures plus rocks, roots, drops, etc. = bottoming out the tire. If you flat, you break your fancy AirTag holder and there is an elevated risk of damaging your rim.
My thoughts exactly.

Another success for AirTags today.

A teammates Venge was stolen last night and has been recovered by the police, found in a stolen Land Rover.

Everyone around you has had good luck with them, how have you and your friends been mounting them to the bike?

the wahoo mount is a normal top cap that screws into the star nut. i removed the plastic insert that held the wahoo clip and used vhb tape to hold down the airtag.

Bumping old thread, want to put a couple smart tags on my bikes. After 1 year, any new good ideas to mount them to the bike out of sight? I like the unused di2 junction somewhere in the frame.

Sticking a radio inside a metal or carbon tube is going to result in massive attenuation. The only reason it works OK in my frame is because the door is made of plastic...and even then it reduces its effective range significantly.

Thinking of buying this one but I have a Romin Evo 3D. Will this fit as well/is the SWAT the same?
