Beautiful! Although why didn't you want Tom's pulley wheels?
Wanted to use parts I already had. Plus I have few other bike and car projects currently.

By the way, any chance you can reveal where you got those hydraulic hose foam sleeves?

Mine is fully build 8.6kg. Not light, but that was not Tom‘s goal, but make it ride fantastically

Mine weighs 9.9kg but that is with 48mm slicks, Ti mud guards, a rack, XC pedals and 3 bottle cages... oh and a bell 😂😂! As my saffron weighs 9.7kg in road mode but with TT extensions I am very happy with the sturdy!! On and mine will take 2.5" mtb tyres so is a serious gravel rig and not really a road bike

I suppose I’ve never paid close enough attention to titanium builds but I suppose 8.5-9.5kg is par the course then?

A typical titanium frame will be 1.5 - 1.6 kg. Some brands, eg Litespeed, reduce that a bit. A typical carbon frame will be ~ 850 grams (?). So that's your gap.

Par the course is a result of the broader configuration - titanium fork, inner cabling, etc.

Gorgeous bikes btw.

My road Sturdy was 7.35kg. Its an older model before Tom produced the Titanium forks, stems, bars etc so they're all carbon which might account for the weight saving. It's lighter than pretty much any other Ti bike on the market.

I'm hoping my aero sturdy comes out sub 7.5kg. Has light tubes and junctions

Build slot for a Sidhe locked in for April 2024. Interested to see more of those frames built between now and then.
