What would be the weight of an ADHX size L, frame + fork?

I am wondering if it could be a viable alternative to ADH23 since I would prefer to have room for at least 32mm tyres.

Would the weight penalty still make sense for a 95% use on paved roads?

Unless you're perfectly happy riding only narrower tyres on pavement, I'd go for the ADHX.

This is the idea, but what would be the weight difference between the 2 models?

I do not want to end up with a tank...

ADHX size S unpainted is 1025 g (w/out fork).
ADH23 (size ?) unpainted is claimed to be 875 g (+ 385 g fork)

150 g difference is hardly signficant in my book, but I'm not a real WW :)

It depends if you are OK riding a frame with longer chainstays, wheelbase and slacker headtube?
Not knowing, but i would guess the ADHX rides a bit plusher since it's not made for typical road.
In all fairness, maybe i can compare to my UP and my AX?
They are very different in ride feel. The AX bike feels much more nimble. The UP is more set, planted.
When i rode UP for 2 seasons and switched to my ex AX, it was really a "wow" sense.
I would guess you can live with ADHX pending on what your preference (or how set you are in it) and how much of a wiggle room you have for differences?

I mean some switch between road bike more or less same, now we talk two slightly different approaches of bikes.

But on the other, you say "atleast" 32 mm tires! That is asking for a bike that isn't a full blown road bike (tarmac, not cobbles and gravel sections).

Yep chainline compatibility.
Does anyone have experience with the Izon? Hard to find any info on it...
Before switching my order for the ADH 23 to the 01, I asked my dealer about this issue, since Campy does recommend 410 mm chainstays for their 12 speed groupsets. The dealer said not to worry; that the spec was over conservative. With 12 speed mechanical SR on my old VXS
and with 12 speed EPS on my ADH, I have had zero problems. The groupsets feels like silk, especially on the ADH.

Hi all!

I recently just got my hands on a 2016 Time Izon but i've been search on google and there isn't much information about it as i'm looking for some parts for it... so all
I have is a frame and I don't have the translink seat post and the isp clamps and the fork... emailed timebicycle about 4-5days ago and still haven't got a reply..

So i'm wondering does anyone know if it is ok to run the frame with maybe a specialized roubaix zerfz fork and its better to run the aktiv fork? If so where can i buy those that i'm missing? I'm in the UK

The 2023 version have 410mm chainstays and the old 404 or 403mm.
I would bet it has to do with tire clearance. I would pick the 2023 version.
Yeah, I have decided on the 2023 version. I'm just considering color now. I actually want the pink one but it's a bit more expensive, bit heavier and has a delivery time of 4-8 weeks compared to the glossy (no paint) that can be delivered immediately.
What I really like is that the carbon layers are visible, even with the painted versions you have "windows". I will. Make my final decision today and order the frame for my first ever bike build from scratch. Exciting times

Smart change of heart!

Well, i have raw gloss painted carbon. It's very stylish, but i also think of painted. However it's a hassle with the sanding job, getting new sticker plus the cost they ask here is horrendous for just single color paint.
I am annoyed to a point of  some clear coat flaking on my frame.

Honestly, i don't think i would get more for the frameset if i sell it, than what the asking price for a paint job is.
With that in the open, i think you should be really certain you pick talking finsih. What will you like in the long run!?
If colored, i would pick red.

Off topic, PINK is the one color i hate like the plague. But each to his own :beerchug:
The pink on this is perhaps not what i would deem as the tone or pink i think of.

I have a black Bianchi and a blue Giant so I'm ready for some new colors. Red doesnt speak to me so much and a pink bike will be very unique, especially a pink Time. 8)

If I was in the market for a new road bike it would be the pink Time. Absolute stunner imo.

I wish I could get an Alpe d'Huez in Gloss Cobalt (like the ADHX).

If the adhx would be available in pink it would be an instant buy for me. But the adhx colors are boring and the clearance on the pink adh are not sufficient.

Hi guys, a little bit off topic: in my search for a rim brake Time frame I’ve managed to get a brand new Scylon (black) and ADH01 (blue) frame in Size M. I didn’t expect to get the Scylon frame so i went for the AdH frame first, thinking that the Scylon frame Deal won’t happen - but then I ended with both frames.

So: I want to sell one of them and Bild the other one. Both are brand new, mint condition with full packaging and the receipt for life long time warranty. I live in germany

If anyone is interested - pm me ;)

Cheers
