I plan to get the SR EPS with WTO wheel set and am curious if this issue still persists as you mentioned Campag seems to think this is ... normal? Or was it due to break in period needed? And also it seems you need to be in fairly high cadence for this to happen?

Mine does the same thing on my Venge and SL6.. my SL6 uses WTO wheels, and I have CLX64 on my Venge.. so its not a Bora freehub thing.. its the way it is... running 53/39 and 11-29 blocks on all wheels
So maybe this issue is only for 53/39 & 11-29? I plan to get the 50/34 & 11-29 + 11-32 so maybe a non-issue? Else extra 3M protection tape I suppose.ParisCarbon wrote: ↑Sat Feb 13, 2021 3:48 pmMine does the same thing on my Venge and SL6.. my SL6 uses WTO wheels, and I have CLX64 on my Venge.. so its not a Bora freehub thing.. its the way it is... running 53/39 and 11-29 blocks on all wheels
I've experienced it on a 50-11-29 and 52-11-29 unfortunately. It doesn't happen to me frequent enough to think about adding protection on the chain stay but might be a different experience for others.NMK wrote: ↑Sat Feb 13, 2021 5:37 pmSo maybe this issue is only for 53/39 & 11-29? My 11 speed setup actually does this. I upgraded it to a 11-32 with a new medium cage Chorus and I started noticing it. It didn't seem to do this with the 12-29 and the short caged derailleur.
I've been meaning to clean the freehub. Maybe I have to tighten the b-screw too?

As regards the Bscrew, just ensure the upper pulley is correctly adjusted to be in the correct position in relation to the cassestte sprocket as per the manual.AJS914 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 13, 2021 7:23 pmMy 11 speed setup actually does this. I say this because I experienced the ' sticking free hub' symptoms you are seeing and it was because of a badly adjusted B screw (I didn't adjust it from new). This resolved the problem for me, maybe it's not the same, but worth checking anyway, instructions are in the rear derailleur setup manual(which can a,so be found on Campagnolo.com).

I don't notice it with my EPS 11 either... running 53/39 and 11-23 or 25 block since no hills worth mentioning within 1200kmAJS914 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 13, 2021 7:23 pmMy 11 speed setup actually does this. My upper jockey wheel / 29 cog have the suggested 5-7mm clearance I still get the slap..

Hi just to correct you. It definitely slaps the chain stay . The video was shot in slow mo to show how much it waves but for some reason it's not playing in slo mo.
Not sure if you race but In criteriums in particular you are always spinning and stopping abruptly from responding to attacks and also cornering so not to strik the pedal.
This action was happening multiple times on each lap in the race.
