That's probably the most beautiful spindle powermeter combo I have seen! Too bad Elilee cranks are not available in 175.

Speaking of cranks. I seem to overlook something - please help me understand: Why don't people just stick with a Dura Ace crankset? Is it not stiff enough? Too mundane?

Can't possibly be the weight?

Let's say I want a (double sided) Powermeter.

11 speed Dura Ace with double sided 4iiii crank based PM is around 640g (in 175mm).

Rotor with P2M: 661g
- Rotor Carbon Cranks (175mm): 260g
- Rotor 30mm Road Axle: 96g
- P2M NG Eco Spider: 155g
- DA Chainrings (50/34): 142g
- Chainring bolts: 8g

SRAM Red DUB cranks & Quarq DFour PM: 656g
- Cranks & Axle (175mm): 340g
- Quarq DFour Spider: 166g
- DA Chainrings (50/34): 142g
- Chainring bolts: 8g

You are comparing spider based pm with a double side crank arm pm. Apple to orange. The latter will always be light.

Da cranks generally scratch quite easily, not particularly light

For me it came down to accuracy, availability and price.

Switch DFour to Sigeyi Axo 4-110 for Sram 8-bolt crank to save 60 grams.

Sram DZero weight about the same as Sigeyi. But Sram intentionally make DFour very heavy for whatever reason (punish you for cheating for Shimano Chainring?). Meanwhile Sigeyi Axo 4-110 and 5-110 weight about the same (around 105g).

Also swap the Rotor to a Sigeyi AXO for a 50g savings.

Some people also prefer cranks that stay in one piece.

Finally finished my build after lightbicycle AR55 flyweight built with extralite spd3 arrived. 6.32kg with computer mount, pedals and one tune cage.
Just had to give this another thumbs up - that's an incredible looking Ostro & unique to boot. Love seeing those EXS bars. Wonder how the drop compares to the Black Inc bars.
Just ride ..

I believe Sigeyi spiders are lighter than P2M SL

Maybe that is helpful. Rotor ALDHu with Sigeyi PM

Thanks! Looks amazing. Why did you go for the Rotor chain rings instead of DA? Weight/stiffness or consistent looks?

I chose them for weight and looks. Don't like the look of Shimano cranksets, that much. Could have gone lighter with the non-aero version, but I think the overall appearnce of the crankset outweighs the burdon of the few additional grams.

This will be combined with an Ultegra 12 speed and DA cassete. Altough not officially marketed as a 12 speed chainring, Rotor confirmed (via Facebook), that it should work without an issue, up to 54. Premier Tech team also used the same combo last year.
