This has been the most slow release schedule of any bike I have been aware of.
I've never seen another one in my city of two million. The biggest scott dealer in my city has sold *two*. Mine and one other.
They're pretty bad at this. Look at the scott Plasma 7. I'm literally not sure that's available yet in my country, after being debuted in, what, Q2 2022 in the Giro?

I ended up putting a deposit down and ordered the one piece. I was told they had one left at Scott to order in a 42/110 for this batch. Thats crazy. Also the fact you can buy direct from Scott is nuts. But like I said I really like the bike a lot so Ill suffer my first world issues..

I have been waiting over 8 months for a 120/400 on pre order. The frame came before the bars.
The Capital 1.0 35 mounted on the Addict RC 15 2022 came without walves. The Addict RC Pro with the ZIPP wheels are supplied with the walves though.SixThirteen wrote: ↑Mon Aug 14, 2023 2:21 amGetting the RC10 - does anyone know if the wheels (Syncros Capital 1.0 50) are supplied with tubeless valves?
And does anyone have any experience of running them with Schwalbe Pro One TLE tyres? Hoping they go on with thumbs are innlate using just a floor pump
Cheers

Scott Foil RC10 Ultegra 12 speed / Creston 50 - 7.9Kg
Follow up on my previous post regarding the CFT seatpost, I liked the comfort of it enough that I ordered it in zero-offset, to the tune of $500 AUD, and I got some of the as-recommended Molykote grease.
The molykote grease is incredibly thick stuff (NLGI 3-4), much more than the already-quite-thick assembly grease I had been using. And being both transparent (the white stuff I used before was very visually leaking out the sides...) and highly water resistant (also used as a plumbers grease), seems an excellent choice by Scott.
That said, thinking about the mechanics of this, and the way it squeezes out the side when I tighten the seatpost, I feel like as it squeezes out, you will have to keep tightening and tightening, until it's all gone after about 1000ks, so that 1000k limit might be totaly valid. Which sucks. I am considering trying a polyurethane elastic joint sealant or similar, see if that lasts longer, but I suspect it will shear off and not last longer at all.

Yes, my delivery included the tubeless valves in Germany. I use Conti Clincher, go on by hand.SixThirteen wrote: ↑Mon Aug 14, 2023 2:21 amGetting the RC10 - does anyone know if the wheels (Syncros Capital 1.0 50) are supplied with tubeless valves?

Mine starts to creak 1h into the ride. The seatpost clamp bolt also looses some tension because the grease comes out from the sides when you ride. I've tried all the options, less grease, more grease, grease only on the flat sections of interface - nothing worked. LBS said brick the bike back so that they can have a look but no convinced they could sort it out as the guy sounded as having no clue what's going on with it. Also emailed Scott UK - response was very short - to go back to LBS. This seatpost is uttershitshow - not sure if it even does anything for vertical complience, as when you try to move the saddle by hands there's no give. When you try and twist the saddle, then you can see some movement along the interface. Probably that's why grease comes out to begin with. I also agree with others saying that saddle clamp is the worst I come accross.
Anyway, I removed the grease completely, and installed a peace of butyl cut out of inner tube. Seems to work and no creaks for two rides in a row.

Honestly your idea sounds way better than the grease idea in the first place. That gives me some hope. I might try it myself. Let me know how you go in a few more rides?sharoonas wrote: ↑Wed Aug 23, 2023 12:15 pmMine starts to creak 1h into the ride. The tyres it came with were Schwalbe One TLE in 28mm. Wow they are boat anchors at 345g each

Trying out your method with the inner tube inside the 3-piece seatpost instead now. Hopefully goes OK.
I went through 3-4 different inner tubes before I went out and purchased a specific race one that would be thin enough that I could still insert the seatpost in the frame and get the clamp in after it. I also had to sand down the back side of the clamp slightly for a little more clearance - not the contact part when it's tight, but there is a tab that only makes contact before you tighten it, that I had to sand back.
took it for a 5 minute testride and no creaking. Will report back after tomorrows 60-70ks.

I did mine with specialised supersonic tube which was thinnest that I had. I had to clamp two peaces with inner tube inbetween with irwin clamp, then inserted into the frame. All went in without much drama. I did ~500km with this set up and so far no creaks.
