Not really new, just a new fork with full integration when paired with Creston IC.
Mentioned already several weeks ago in the Scott Addict thread.
Minimum bike categories required in the stable:
Aero bike | GC bike | GC rim bike | Climbing bike | Climbing rim bike | Classics bike | Gravel bike | TT bike | Indoors bike

Seems not really new, they have changed just the fork to adopt internal cables. No use of their HMX SL like their top Addicts..so it seems they just didn't want to have cabled aero bike for 2021 but they are not ready yet with new design, maybe next year.

They sort of half assed this unfortunately.

The frame mold keeps the same except the headtube... no frame weight claimed... Though I like foil, I hope the new one could be lighter.

Just THE top version with HMX carbon frame and fork, the rest are HMF frames and HMX forks.

Still remaining the tallest modern racing road bike so far.
Size 52 Specialized Tarmac: bb drop 74mm
Size 52 Scott Foil: bb drop 66mm
I wish they at least address this specific geometry.

was just about to post this. realized BB drop was still only 66mm. that's not much especially if you're running 32mm tires.

I think 66mm make some sense if you want to ensure no pedal strike in hard corner with 21mm tires and long crank arms. But with modern 25-32mm though...

They either develop something entirely new, completely focused on being aero (and ugly like the new canyon aeroad) or they just stick with a more aero addict and pull a specialized move and kill the foil. There is no room for both.

Talking Spesh in a Scott thread, sorry for that ... but!
Wait a year or so and i believe Spesh has a real aero bike out.
Then the sales arguement of one bike to rule them all is as what is... BS!
Bikes:

Ax Lightness Vial EVO Race (2019.01.03)
Open *UP* (2016.04.14)
Paduano Racing Fidia (kind of shelved)

Ex bike; Vial EVO D, Vial EVO Ultra, Scott Foil, Paduano ti bike.

Marketing is not BS, it's magic dust. It would revive the aero bike next year. :beerchug:
Rikulau V9 DB Custom < BMC TM02 < Litespeed T1sl Disc < Giant Propel Advanced SL Disc 1 < Propel Adv < TCR Adv SL Disc < KTM Revelator Sky < CAAD 12 Disc < Domane S Disc < Alize < CAAD 10

Caveat: I have a Foil Premium

The Foil is the bike that all bike companies are trying to design. It's light and aero to the right balance. For a few years the manufacturers went super aero (S5, SystemSix, etc.) and now they realise consumers want a balance. Scott just treaded water in the last few years, and by either sheer luck or cleverness have found that the bike they designed in 2016 was the perfect blend - except it didn't have hidden cables. Now it does!

The bb drop won't be a factor in most people's buying decisions. It wasn't in mine. I looked for a bike that fitted me perfectly, and at my height (189cm/6'3") I couldn't start looking at every millimetre dimension.

If the price is right (ie less than a Cervelo or Spec), then this will be a hit.
