Correct. Though it's really end of Autumn, here in Western Australia. For further context, my RC10 will apparently be one of the first frames into the state (maybe country). The others are even slower.
Having said that, originally the RC10 size 58 was one of the last frames after the RC Ultimate/Pro. But everything is moving. So who knows.

Here in Asia the RC Ultimate frameset is already available, but the Syncros integrated aero bars are October yet

Has anyone thought about making a shim to put over the steerer to enable the use of standard cockpits?

What does the steerer look like? I didn't even realise it wasn't round.
Can you not just use their stem with someone elses bar? That's the main reason I got the foil over most other aero bike options - to fit my 35cm enve handlebars.
If you deeply want to use an integrated handlebar, I guess that's more of a problem?

Yeah I want to use an integrated cockpit but the ones Scott makes don’t go narrow enough for me

Isn't Cervelo S5 a more easily accessible option?

Hi there! anybody know if it possible to use the Addict cockpit for the Foil 2023 when waiting for the new AERO cockpit..? Is the cover / spacers compatible?

that 1997 vintage 1" steerer design...man the swiss do some weird stuff.
also you gotta dremel the inside radius in that integrated stem. the finishing is so bad from Scott that its sharp enough to gouge hoses.

Haven't heard about many Scott fork failures lately, though there was definitely a spate 3-5 years ago. Wall thickness looks ok. But this basically means you're stuffed if you want to run a higher stack of spacers and have the safety of a longer expander - because they don't exist to fit 1" fork steerers. Plus you need the sleeve if you're going to fit a 1 1/8" stem or cockpit.FactoryMatt wrote: ↑Sun Feb 19, 2023 5:39 amthat 1997 vintage 1" steerer design...man the swiss do some weird stuff.
