Just placed an order with my local dealer on the 2023 Bmc teammachine slr01 in white/red. Going to migrate the group set over from my giant tcr advanced pro.
I am hoping this is a huge upgrade considering the frame set for the tcr is only $1.8K vs SLR01 at $7.2k.
I just found out the junction for my 11s di2 cannot be placed in the bar end anymore. Which junction box should i be getting in this case?
As for bike comp mount, any reccomendations that would work with the integrated cockpit?

Thanks in advance.

The junction box on the SLR01 comes into the frame just at the bottle cage.

Can I know what part should I be getting? Not sure if it's junction B or something.

Normally the EW-RS910 junction box is the same for installation for in the handlebar as of in the frame.

You'll need 2 Junction Bs and the EW-RS910.

I just weighted my BMC SLR01 FOUR 2020 (di2 ultegra, disk) using my bathroom scale. The most scientific method of all!

(without head unit and bottles)
  • all stock size 51
  • close the Gap hideMyBell Garmin mount
  • Grand Prix 5000 (I can't remember the tubes)
  • dura ace k7 I had from my previous build
  • assioma, one-sided power meter

8kg dead.

(just realized this thread is for 2020. well, you can do comparisons anyway)

Just got my 2023 TM slr01.

Set up as follow:
Ultegra di2 11s, 165mm crank 50-34, cassette 11-28, xtr discs rotors, favero assioma Shi power meter, sworks power saddle, farsports revo 48mm, gp5k STR tan walls, exposure lights front and back, stock bottle cages, wahoo bolt2 on stock out front mount on ics 90/400 bar.

Weighing in at 7.3kg with all accessories.

Any suggestions to reduce weight or recommendations to change the out front mount?

Thanks @michaelK and @ODC for the replies on di2 junction box installations.

Did it sit flush under the bar? Incidentally the link u provided says not compatible with bmc ics. You are really pushing it there 😂

It is flush and I might not have used the link to the correct model. That or K-Edge has changed/no longer makes the compatible one. I'll take a close look.

I use the same kedge mount on my bmc slr01 one piece carbon bars. I used some washers to make it fit properly. Have a Garmin edge 1030 and a light mounted and it’s solid. Reason I am not using the original mount is that with the Garmin and light it was too heavy and the mount broke.

Hi guys,
My computer mount from my ics cockpit broke off yesterday are there alternatives that are stronger than the original?
My handlebar is the one piece cockpit from a slr01.

I really really like the Close the Gap hidemybell, I think this one fits the ICS: https://www.closethegap.cc/product/hide ... aceday-fi/
