Final build of my 2022 SL TCR, hopefully ready to start riding this week (weather permitting).
Build was straight forward enough, my first electronic groupset but watched so many videos, read so many excellent BetterShiffting.com articles, it was all very enjoyable.
Cutting the ISP was the most stressfull part but finished nicely with one of Peak Torque's guides and a Park Tool carbon saw blade.
The Zipp FC303 paired with 28mm GP5000 ST R is the first tubeless combo I've had that inflated first time with just a standard track pump, with tyres only requiring minimal lever action to get the last bit on - very happy with that.
Do not have weight, sorry! I'll need to borrow some scales to remedy that...
Picture at the end of my winter TCR Advanced 3 - a bottom of the range and top of the range - will be interesting to compare.

So there won't be a new TCR until MY25. Just in time for the rim-brake revival
Seriously though, what are they going to make that will sell against the Propel? Surely, rim brakes and external cables have to go, but then, what's the TCR's USP? Will they focus on weight and comfort, like the Aethos perhaps, or maybe there won't be a new TCR at all?
Been dusting mine off after winter hibernation and stuck on a set of cream GP 5000 S TR AS. This bike is so light and nimble but incredibly stable at the same time. It's the easiest bike to ride no hands I've ever had, although I am still not up to putting on a rain jacket while moving!

^I'm hoping the next gen TCR will be all-road instead. Please retain the external cabling or at least give us a choice.
Basically, larger tire clearance (up until 38mm would be nice), and retain everything that is still good about the TCR.
Even today, it's still the only bike I would buy with my own money without a second thought.

I don't think you can keep short chainstay and narrow bb and 2x chainring support together while supporting 35+mm tires though.
Something have to be compromise. Either longer chainstay or 1x only is expected if you need 38mm tire support. And I don't think TCR fans may like that.

Thanks. Waxing can be a bit more hassle, especially in winter when it's always wet here, but for me it's totally worth it for the cleanliness alone. You should check out this thread here.
I got the cassette from BikeInn and the chain from r2-bike.
Bomb! EXS just released an OD2 (based on TCR shape) D-shaped fork for fully internal routing. 380g uncut. The matt black is expected to be around 2000 cny ~ 290 usd sold in China.

That D-shape looks like OverDrive Aero!alanyu wrote: ↑Mon Apr 17, 2023 5:11 pmBomb! EXS just released an OD2 (based on TCR shape) D-shaped fork for fully internal routing. 380g uncut. The matt black is expected to be around 2000 cny ~ 290 usd sold in China.

EDIT: Nope.
This fork is a gamechanger for fully integrated TCR conversions. Before it you were either limited to sketchy drilled steerers or heavy Defy fork swaps (~430g for a '19-20 Adv OD1 fork incl. plastic thru-axle protector IIRC) that compromised on safety, weight and stiffness.

Those bars look new too... Drop shape and reach look very EXS, they've previously said that they weren't going to do a separate aero drop bar, but I'm not complaining. Could either of you try and get some more information regarding the bars? Thanks!

I think the aero drop bars are called R185? There was a video on them uploaded by the same Bilibili channel but he took it down. From memory it supports internal routing.dudemanppl wrote: ↑Mon Apr 17, 2023 6:13 pmThose bars look new too... EDIT: 360/380/400/420mm widths, ~185g quoted for 400mm, ~1180RMB retail
