The headtube has a truncated profile on the new TCR.

Have you been running your clamp above the seat post without spacers??

Ha!! I moved the toper up just for the photos, so that the green tape would show up.

Does the polyester tape's adhesive make it sticky? I was previously using electrical tape for my spacers, and it collected grime and dirt overtime and realised the adhesive started forming on my spacers and seatpost itself, removed it completely and now my seat mast rests on the seatpost naked.
No residue - this tape is really strong & actually really slick. It is only used to reduce the tolerance.

Enquired about a TCR Advanced SLR frameset in the country's rep and was told possibly only for the end of the year.

how is this even 8kg?

My size ML with 56mm wheels and porky parts are less than 7.5kg if I used lighter tires.
The TCR from Bluetomatoo is the old TCR, so the frame/fork are heavier.
That’s correct. Advanced Pro Team 2020 size S.

Any experience with putting sub-compact cranks on a new TCR frame? (48-32 or preferably 46-30). Does the FD go low enough for that to work?

Build weekend is finally here :) (poor weather means no riding).

TCR Advanced SL
MY 2022
Raw Carbon
Size: Large
Wheelset: Zipp 303 Firecrest

Weights (ISP and fork uncut / frame with rearhanger attached / wheels with tape and valves including plastic valvecap).

Bit disapointed with the weight of the wheels, I'm sure the rimtape and valves can't be much more that 30g, so they are coming in almost 100g over spec. Realise it's never spot on with the web specs but 100g is a fair bit heavier in my opinon. All will be forgiven of they ride nicely though :D

Handy wee tip I picked up from watching a YouTube build video, using an inner tube to hold the fork whilst I measure it up.

Great tool for £12.50. I like to buy good quality tools but no way is the Park version worth £55 compared to this.

Very satisfying to use.

Is anybody using a one piece bb in their tcr advanced sl frame (2022 model specifically)

I'm interested in either a hambini or bbinfinite but I just need to know if they're compatible, are there any obstructions that would stop one of these going in?

Cheers
