New Giant TCR Advanced announced
Moderator: robbosmans
Can anyone confirm if the following handlebar has any restrictions in mounting on the Giant TCR: https://r2-bike.com/SYNCROS-Stem-Handle ... -mm-110-mm
I'm not looking for a (sketchy) integration, just like the shape of the bars (loved them on my Scott Foil previously).
EDIT: I have an OD fork.

Question regarding the tyres please. I see you have the Schwalbe Pro One TLEs fitted and they are listed as a compatible tyre by Giant for the SL1 rim in 25C, 28C and 32C. What diameter tyre do you have and did you/your mechanic have any difficulties fitting them?bedampft wrote: ↑Wed Dec 28, 2022 6:13 pmTCR Advanced SL Team
7,1kg as in the photos. (Pedals, Computer & Mount, Bottle Cadges and Tool Box)
Size M/L, Seat height 760mm
Dropbar is a Newmen Wingbar Advanced 318 in 400mm that I'm trying out for the first time. Not light (220g), but the shape is quite nice.
I've been using 25mm for abot 2 years now and they actually measure 27mm on the SLR 1 36 Disc. I would say they need the right amount of force to get them on. Not to much and not to little (to feel uncomfortable).AlexWCS wrote: ↑Wed Feb 01, 2023 10:18 amQuestion regarding the tyres please. Great looking bike!
Can I ask you how much setback you have and the length of your saddle since its almost all the way towards the front?
I have the possibility to make a deal on a new TCR in M/L and have a similar seat height (765-770mm) and 60mm setback with 250mm saddle. Which can be difficult to acheive on some bikes or weird looking.

Would like to check from model 2022 onwards, the TCR advance vs advance pro is that the frame is exactly the same carbon grade, but that the pro fork is OD2, the non pro fork is also full carbon but normal 1 1/8 steerer?
Im considering getting a non pro version as i prefer the standard steerer but am concern if its of a much lower carbon grade

Setback is 80mm, lengh of saddle is 240mm. Got 5mm left to the max forward position.
Are those frame weights confirmed by you?
