Just had a look and it appears to be the original clamp, but with a carbon top plate.
J&L do the plate as a separate part on eBay and I was co side ring just getting that as a compromise.
Being able to replace the whole unit with a lighter model would have been amazing, but whoever made them must have stopped as they can't be contacted at all.

Wow, people are way too brave. I don't feel confortable buying carbon fibre parts from Alliexpress.Doyler wrote: ↑Sat Apr 01, 2023 12:53 pmThese are the ones I have

Has he replied yet? I'd be happy to reach out to him myself on WeChat and tell him to check his Insta DMs

Haven't heard anything back unfortunately.
Who is making that carbon topper - it's exactly what I had in mind!!! Is there an easy way to purchase (I'm in the uk).
Thanks for the help.

The carbon clamp is from a different brand to RCRACE, price is around ~140USD in China
It and the RCRACE are very much cottage industry products where you buy directly from the propreitor, so shipping to the UK will not be straightforward
Yeah, that was my worry - but these look so good that it would be worth a bit of hassle if at all possible.StiffWeenies wrote: ↑Mon Apr 03, 2023 8:55 pm

Has anyone bought through these channels before that could offer any advice?
I'm just starting my build of a TCR SL astral aura 2021 frameset which I picked up brand new in the box - this would be the icing on the cake!
Stiffweenies - if you can reach out to RCRace for me I'd be very grateful.
At least through instagram I would be able to communicate and maybe work something out.
Regarding the carbon clamp - I can't seem to even register for Baidu so have no way of enquiring about it.
If it is available through any other site just let me know.
I'd be more than happy with either version of lightweight clamp - both offer a good reduction on the heavy original.
Thanks again.

As seen on pic 7.4kg on the dot. The cages are really worth the money. It's not very expensive and it's light weight.
how much they weight ?

Not bad given also the potential aero gains, specially for the price.MagicShite wrote: ↑Tue Apr 04, 2023 8:47 am61g, on my scales. They seem to integrate well with the downtube, does it also integrate well with the seattube?
Thanks!
