Quick question: the steerer adaptor that comes with the F1 has a lip on one end. Is this supposed to sit below the stem, or above? LBS installed it above but it doesn’t look the cleanest. (Really digging it otherwise!)

Under,
That ensures square contact with the dust cover (and then the bearing), rather than rely on the stem surface.
If you use the +/-3deg it’s essential, cause the bottom of the stem will be tilted.

Thanks! I spoke to the mechanic and the issue seems to be the spacers. If the lip of the adaptor is under the stem, it would create the same gap between stem and first spacer. If anything that would be more obvious that the gap between stem and top cap.

In terms of the stem sitting square, that's a consideration 🤔

To mitigate both issues, I could design and print a custom spacer with a small indent to accept the lip of the adaptor below the stem. I'm tempted; the Supersix spacers are not the nicest to look at either and I think I could do better.

Spring project maybe 😏

If you run the 0deg sleeve, you could remove the lid. if you use the 3deg one you must have it under.
I did work with Lucendi to get a spacer able to cover the lid. You can see the result on Lucendi’s thread and contact him on IG.

I would like to buy these handlebars for my daughter in 360x80mm for her Tarmac SL7. In this size, according to the seller, they should be in stock in mid-March.
What experience do you have with transport, payment, taxes, etc.?
Does anyone have them in a similar size? What is the actual weight?
Thank you Mark.

I'm waiting for the new Roval handlebars from Specialized, which only a few riders are riding in the world tour so far. Unfortunately, it is not at all clear when they will be. Maybe until 2024? :-)

I need a 360 x 80 mm size for my daughter and I'm not sure that Specialized will even offer this size.

On the Tarmac SL7 I assume the fork neck is 1-1/4" ???

I'm a bit confused about this...
I'm looking at the Farsports site
https://www.farsports.com/products/f1-handlebar-98

They offer F1s, but the photos below are F1s.
Even the description below on the website is for F1, where the Reach is 73 mm and the Drop is 128 mm.

So what's the F1s drop and reach like?

From the photos we found on this forum it looks like the F1S have more reach than the F1 and that would bother me as I need a short stem of 80mm and a max reach of 75mm.

In other words...

according to the photos, it does not seem to me that the F1 and F1S have a reach of 73 mm and 75 mm, respectively.

According to the photos, the F1S seems longer to me ...

I ordered a 11cm and I would say it was closer to a 12cm when I finally got it all set up.....wish I had gone for the 10cm lol.

That's exactly what I'm afraid of, so that my daughter doesn't have it long in the end. Not a few dollars...

Isn’t it like the f1? The overall extension is correct but the stem seems 1cm longer and the reach 1 cm shorter?
