A couple of folks posted measurements of each.
Like C36 said, the original F1 had a longer stem and shorter bar reach which added up (approximately) to the quoted reach.

It looks to me like the F1s has a more expected stem length and bar reach. I can't tell if the new one has a slightly longer overall reach, but if so it's only longer by a small amount.

Quick question: the steerer adaptor that comes with the F1 has a lip on one end. Is this supposed to sit below the stem, or above? LBS installed it above but it doesn’t look the cleanest. (Really digging it otherwise!)

Do you know what the height of the stem is including the spacer for the super six? I'm about to cut my steerer and want to make sure I leave enough length in case I decide to upgrade to this bar/stem combo in the future.

I measured the stem stack on my F1 at 40.2 mm tall and the lip of the shim is 3 mm.

However, I haven't got around to flipping the shim on mine, and the lip shouldn't stick out the full 3 mm when installed the right way around.

Might be best to give yourself extra steerer if you can, that way you're not trying to shave a single
mm or 2 off later.

Hello,

How is measured Farsports F1s stem length ? Center to center (as a "normal" stem) ?

Do F1s and F1 have exactly the same geometry ?

Thanks for your help.

Thank you! I misspoke in my question, I've already cut the steerer tube with the standard cannondale Knot stem and the 12mm and 7.5mm space underneth. I've moved to just the 12mm space and wanted to make sure I had enough tube left. I took the stem off last night and I have 44-45mm of tube sticking out which should just about perfect. I may have to spend some time with a file to get it right, but thats not the end of the world. I didn't want to spend the money on the handlebar and spacer only to have it be 5mm short and debating the safety of that.

Hi, anyone got a new F1s recently? I would like to check if the hose/cable hole at the base of stem is reduced in size compared to the official photos and earlier F1s model? Attaching a photo of the F1s received recently for reference.

As I'm running Ultegra mechanical, I'm concern if 2 brake hoses and 2 shifter cables can be routed through the reduced hole size.

how do I know if this will fit the new Time Alpe Dhuez? does it come with some aero shaped spacers that fit all the bikes frames?

Hello:

I'm considering buying F1s handlebar for a generation 3 Cannondale Supersix Hi mod bike.
Just a couple of questions:

1. Is it possible to remove the stem decal? I'm looking for a clean stealth look, with no decal. Is it a decal or is it printed. Can I take it off manually or should I use any chemical or cleaning product? In that case, which produt in order to not damage the stealth look?

2. When I'm purchasing it, I'm asked to choose between 1-1/8" (OD1) or 1-1/4" (OD2) for steerer tube size.
My Supersix is a 51 size unit.
In Cannondale website specifications for steerer says:
Integrated, 1-1/8" - 1-1/4" (44-54cm), 1-1/8" - 1-3/8" (56-62cm)
Which steerer tube size should I purchase OD1 or OD2? or both of them are included in the pack?

Thanks in advance.

I am considering purchasing the F1s bars for the Cervelo Caledonia 5 I have on order, but I am a little concernced by comments on this thread about the actual stem and bar reach not being true to the stated size. Could anyone with a set of these bars take some measurements to confirm whether or not the bars are actually 73mm in reach c-c and the actual the stem measurement from centre of the steerer to centre of the bars? Perhaps the measurements Farsports provide are not c-c?

Thanks in advance!

Editied: sorry, see this has already been done a few pages back

I just got my F1s in 380x110mm
...
Nice! (Although lighter would be nicer, it still looks good)

Aryeh, would you be willing to measure some of the dimensions? I’d be interested in comparing with this post by backdoor, especially the stem length and bar reach. Image
Here you go. Its hard to accurately measure this thing but hopefully this helpsImageImageImageImageImage

From what Ive gathered here the stem length is always longer than advertised correct? That's close to 10mm by the looks of it

Also, I just cant find the response but there's a way to change the angle for this from -10 to -7 deg?

I use 100x400; had two of them and they were accurate. I also wish they were a little lighter, but they are very good looking.
