2020 Specialized Tarmac SL7

Anyone see any amazing deals on sl6 rim brake frames or even bikes? I've looked on ebay and most deals are disc brake frames. Rim brake SL6 frames actually seem to be kind of rare now.

I haven't seen any deals that good yet on an S-works frame. Though, I could get a whole SL6 Expert with Ultegra for around $2500.
It's too early for awesome deals. Wait another year and after SL7 is announced. Believe me there will be PLENTY available on ebay barely used or new old stock.
Well, i am thinking about buying one 9000km used
black s-works sl6 rim, dura ace di2, clx50 wheels, shimano power meter, aerofly handlebars for price around 3900 EUR.
mmm, should i?

I think Spesh will do a way with all rim brake frames because that has been their MO for years. Just look at some of the quotes from their leadership and how important discs are to their business model moving forward.
I'm also interested in grabbing an SL6 on sale this spring...

Just picked up a brand new S-Works SL6 Frame and CLX50 for 50% off retail.
I was holding off for a new TCR but not having a direct mount brakes were deal breaker.

Was this a model year 2020 frame? What a deal regardless, congrats!lewishong9 wrote:Just picked up a brand new S-Works SL6 Frame and CLX50 for 50% off retail.

I'm not sure if it's a 2020 frame. Just plain looking Black/White frame.mvcap wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2020 3:07 amWas this a model year 2020 frame? What a deal regardless, congrats!lewishong9 wrote:Just picked up a brand new S-Works SL6 Frame and CLX50 for 50% off retail.

Can't have it all i guess
Umm, not that I’d usually be so direct (and I don’t want to violate forum rules), but as long as you and others mentioned this, I have an S Works Tarmac SL6 size 56 \\ Dura Ace direct mount rim brake \\ eTap \\ CLX32 wheels bike on sale right now on eBay. It’s the bike pictured and described on the second post on this page (and now down to 6.41 kg with pedals and cage) (not the HED wheel one at the top, but the frame is the same color):
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=143539&hilit=2018+T ... start=1380
It’s listed on eBay for $5800 plus $125 shipping US (that should make it easy to find) but send an offer or message me here. I’m a Weight Weenies fan and will sell it materially cheaper for someone on this board who’ll appreciate the bike. (Proof: I have literally given away nice bike parts to posters who will appreciate them. I can't give away the Specialized as I need to fund my next project, but the point in selling is as much to find a home for the bike as it is to raise $$$.) Materially cheaper means closer to $4000 than above $5000, so long as it's to a fellow weenie.

I'd be interested but I think the fork has been cut too much for me.
Perhaps. To my recollection there's a 5 mm spacer or space in the headset itself, then the stem, then a 5 mm spacer above. I can check if it helps.
(Returns from garage.) The headset top (conic) appears to be at least 10mm. There's a 5 mm spacer on top of that, then the stem, then a 5 mm spacer atop that. I'm not bendy enough to slam the stem
