Oooof, was hoping for lighter.

But I guess I'm just spoiled by Berk. Up until somewhat recently I was riding an Arione 00, which I thought was light at the time at ~140g. For your average rider that 60g gain probably isn't even a consideration.

Conceptually I understand why it's heavier. You've got essentially a full carbon fiber shell giving the thing structure, and then instead of just wrapping that shell in leather with potentially a thin layer of padding like most saddles, they're building off that structure in layers. It also looks quite wide, which I assume contributes to it. But practically I can't see myself going in for a ~130g increase from what is already a very comfortable saddle.

Hopefully once the technology matures they manage to get those numbers down. Or we get a company that prioritizes weight to start dabbling with this kind of tech.

If it was wrapped in memory foam instead, then the weight would be +++

If anyone here can feel 60g on a bike from a saddle bottle whatever it is and sell it.

I'm guessing the comfort of this seat is significant to justify such a cost. The added weight is of no consequence if the seat is the most comfortable anyone has ever sat on.

Does anyone know the possible date for the U.K. launch of the mirror saddle?

Don't know. It was slated for release in the US already (March/April), and as far as I know it wasn't released.

I decided to check out the competition: Fizik Antares Versus Evo 00 Adaptive. As it turns out it's manufactured by the same company (Carbon) and it's $100 cheaper.

What do you think of the Antares Versus Evo 00 Adaptive? I was considering that but wonder how comfy it is when riding in a more aggressive aero position, ie with more pressure on the nose of the saddle.

$500 would be good for a saddle custom made for my sit bones at like 100g. This is a little crazy but tech takes time to evolve.

What I meant is that I took a look at it online. I'm not committing to purchasing either saddle until after all the reviews are out. My Sworks Power does a pretty good job at staying my interest in these 3d saddles.

Stupid 3d printed saddles gona entice me to spend more on another saddle merrygoround even when my sp-01 are keeping my derriere pretty happy.

Curious for when people get the power mirror.. Is the wings any more flexible than regular power... This gets me on all the power models.

Hmmm . . . I'm a little disappointed in the weight. Personally, I love my Fizik Antares Versus Evo 00 Adaptive. The most comfortable saddle I've ever ridden for sure. I'm sure this Specialized saddle will be great as well, but I like the shape and lower weight of the Fizik better.
