Just measured it. The post ranges from 31.5-31.7. It’s not a perfect circle and it’s uneven. Plus I sawed off about 3” worth and the fiber started to split from inside the post.

Anyways I got another one incoming so will measure that one when it arrives

It sounds like you got a defective one that made it passed QC (if there is any lol).

I bet the next one will work.

At least you got the last one pretty quickly. Mine took about a month.

Yea, now just waiting for a refund on the defective one. Ordered a new one from a different seller.

The seller I got mine from was the “carbon fibre bike store”.

IMO it’s harder to navigate aliexpress than eBay. It took me a few min just to figure out who the seller was.

I ordered an Elita One this evening from eBay,
Agree with @jerrylook eBay is far easier to navigate than Aliexpress
27.2mm setback, reportedly 135g +/-5g, for under NZ$60
Hopefully it’ll fit....

I’ve bought one of the USE, Carbon in-line post. A work of art, really well made and 122g. Very happy with it, saved 120g off the original brick that was on the bike.

I see my new order for the seatpost landed in US customs. So hopefully will get it next week and my build will be complete

Happy to report back that the new seatpost I purchase for $18.00 came yesterday. Measured 31mm and after sizing it and cutting it off it’s sitting at 128g.

I did have an issue with the mount, where it’s a bit wide for my ronin EVO Pro. So I salvaged the aluminum mount from my 3T Doric to use. They weigh the same, so no penalty.

Gonna try it out tomorrow for a ride

I've been using a 31.6 Elita One in my Raleigh Militis for the past month and a half, and it's been solid! I had to swap out the mounting hardware, however, because it was too narrow to be seated onto my saddle rails. This added 15g to the overall weight of the seatpost, but that's insignificant. Anyway, it's comfortable and has not made a peep yet, and I'm 6'2 and 110 kg.

Yup I’ve been putting some miles into the T1SL with this post and loving it. Feels very stiff and confident. Bought the 400mm version and after cutting it down, it’s 128g... lighter than my original 3T Doric. Pretty good bang for the buck for $18.

Stock bolts dont have washers and threadlocker
This may be needed for offroad use.

Is it possible to use 1-piece top clamp for yolk instead of 2 wide tube nuts? When they are unscrewed you can loose some parts on trail

Picked up a Hylix post from Fleabay, 27.2x400mm, 20mm setback, 6x9 rail clamp.
Not happy with the weight, 186g I'll be cutting maybe 100mm off but don't expect a major weight drop.

I picked up one of these EC90 seatposts from Ali: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3292039 ... b201603_55

The graphics took about 5 minutes to remove with 800 grit wet/dry sandpaper and after cutting 130mm off, it came in at 155gr. That's for a 31.6mm post and 130mm off 400. Probably could've shaved a few mil more, but better safe than sorry.

Not the lightest post, but I prefer the look over the Elita. Kinda looks like an Enve post. I got the matte 3k version and it's really beautiful.
