For U.S. duty I think the threshold is around $900. Funny thing is the duty collection depends on the shipper used. The slower ones get through customs without duty. The 2-3 day express packages have duty slapped on by customs. I bought a set of Boras from Germany and the wheels took a long time to arrive but no duty. Then I bought a second set of Boras from the U.K. The wheels arrived in 3 days but I had to pay a 10% duty.
