Still not a SystemSix replacement I assume ?
We were only shown the SuperSix. And no it doesn’t look to me like it will make the SystemSix redundant.

What I saw was a very nice overall package with definite improvements in both aero and compliance in the rear half of the bike.

The leaks aren't the same anymore.

Heard the handlebar setup was designed by MOMO

Bike is here and pleasantly surprised I thought it'd be plain black but has a nice metallic flake effect. Shame it's been so cold here I haven't got to have a test ride yet

Same geometry, beefier down tube and a new handlebar.

There's obviously more than that.
1 second faster, more aero and compliant?

How do you make rigid bikes more bendy? You can 1) flatten tubes and/or 2) make the tubes bent by default and/or 3) smush triangles.

Does anyone know what hub I need to run Shimano 11s on HollowGram 35 wheels? My new Supersix has SRAM 12sp so I got the dt Swiss hub for my farsport wheels so they now fit on the new bike, however I was planning to put the the Cannondale’s back on my old frame and not sure what I need to swap them from SRAM to Shimano

I'm having a new Evo 3 built up in January (despite the Evo 4 coming soonish). Especially with integrated cables/hoses, I like the idea of SLT (solid lubricant) bearings. Does anyone other than CermicSpeed make these yet? Is anything available for an Evo 3 (size 51/54) headset?

The hoses don't go through the bearings on the SSE3 so you really don't need to worry about using SLT stuff. CeramicSpeed only makes them for 1.5" uppers and lowers AFAIK, which means they aren't an option for the SSE3.

So, I'm a bit frustrated. No matter what I do (within reason), my non-HM SS EVO Force is still a pig. Yes, Force is heavy, I know, but not THAT heavy. I easily got a Canyon ultimate SLX with Force down to 7.4 kg.

With the Quarq PM, an upgraded 140g saddle, no pedals, cages, or mounts, and with Zipp 303FC (the new ones), and 30mm Schwalbe Pro Ones, I'm sitting at bang-on 8kg (size 58). That would be fine if it were an all-out aero bike, but it's supposed to a all-rounder/climbing bike! I could save 100g total by putting the 10-33 cassette back on (10-36 on now) and by moving to 28mm tires. Beyond that, though, it's going to cost a fortune. $300 for a new cockpit, $300 for a new cassette, and $350 for some new crank arms probably gets me half-a-kg. Looking at 7.45kg.

That's very aggravating. Feels like I should've just picked up a TCR or an Emonda. Especially considering the issues I've have with shifting and with my headset.

Having put a significant amount of money in at this point (at least $1500 after selling the factory wheels) to be at 8kg is kind of a joke' especially with 1350g wheels.
Does it have the knot cockpit and stock bar tape and bar end plugs? If so a cheap way to save weight would be to switch the bar end plugs for some push in one's, the ones that come it are surprisingly heavy! Another trick is to leave the tops of the bars unwrapped as long as they're still comfortable for you of course!
I actually prefer to have most of the tops unwrapped. Just took off the tape and plugs. Weighed about 110g. Probably save 30-40g by going to supercaz.

Good idea.

Also, weighed both the Force 10-33 and 10-36, for those interested. 10-33 was 268g and 10-36 was 311g.

So, if I put on new tape and go back to the 10-33, still looking at 7.92kg. Lol.
Hi All

New to the forum so excuse any faux pas - wanted to follow on from this point about the weight of the SS,

I bought a Ultegra Disc 2021 58 (I'm 6ft 3) and love it, apart from the weight but I'm willing to make some investments over time here.

Firstly i cannot understand why the bike weights so much, is it just because its 58 frame, its 8.6kg which is chubby when looking at other SS bikes and claimed weights here. I've created a list to see how it adds up but that still doesn't explain. Can someone help to correct what I'm missing?
