Dura-Ace R9200

The only nice thing about gearing in 12 speed system is as you said you can have the lowest and highest gear in one setup. My red axs with 48/35 and 10-33 combo is pretty damn great never need to change the gearing at all in most if the terrain. While it’s not 1:1 at the lowest gear i can push the 35-33 fine on steep part.
With da 11 i think 11-32 red cassette with 50-34 is about the same ratio for the lowest gear.
With the 11 speed set up i listed above i calculated about 180g lower weight than the full 12 speed da di2. (Rotor aldhu carbon with sigeyi powermeter). And thats with 11-32 sram red 11 cassette. The delta is reduced of course if you dont use 9270 crankset but still, lower weight with probably half the cost if bought second hand.

For the build up of my new bike i’m in doubt between the dual sided 4iiii Dura Ace 9200 crankset or the official Shimano Dura Ace 9200 power meter crankset.
What would you take guys?
I know the shimano isn’t the most accurate showing numbers but is it so bad compared to 4iiii?
I like the Shimano model there I don’t need to change batteries anymore (changing batteries isn’t a real deal breaker for me) but on the other hand i like the 4iiii model that I don’t need to stick a magnet on my frameset. Okay these are minor things. The most important for me are the numbers and which one is the most problem free.

Shane Miller / GP Lama also had a review of the Shimano DA powermeter. The Shimano powermeter cranks shouldn't be an option for anyone until there is proven reliability.

Just do it manually. You will need to tell the system it is using a recognised combo first. Then when you go through to the shift plan you can move the shift points around as you wish.

My SL7 i have 52/36 9200 chainset with a full 9200 build
My S3 i have 52/36 8000 chainset with a full mechanical 8000 buld.
I am trying to buy 54t chainring but struggling so tempted to by a full 54/40 chainset. Can i use the 9200 with my 8000 setup; i am guessing yes with a 12 speed chain?

Anyone using 9100 chainrings w/ DA 12 speed successfully? I'm having a tough time sourcing a 54/40t 9200 chainring.

I need a new crank and thought about grabbing a 9100 crank, but chainrings are hard to come by, was thinking a 9200 crank would futureproof me a bit if it works with 11 speed.
I did this last season (9100 cranks w 9200 DA) due to availability problems and could neve get it to shift well. The 9100 chainrings are further apart, so the 9200 FD does not shift cleanly as it expects a smaller chainring gap. Clean shifts maybe half the time. I had to adjust the FD high limit way outwards to get it reasonable, but it was never perfect. Even had a couple of chain drops to the outside due to the excessive high limit. When I installed a 9200 crankset, no more problems.
The difference is in the chainrings themselves, not the crankset. And 9100 rings will fit on a 9200 crankset but look odd. So 9100 chainrings will work but probably not well.

9100 rings don’t fit on 9200 crank arms. Shimano reversed on side of the arms so they aren’t compatible. I tried for a trainer bike.
