Can the SM-PCE01 be used to update the firmware on 12sp DI2 components with the new Y79M9801T SD300 connector cable?

Or is the SM-PCE02 the only option these days?
PCE02 only. Originally it came with SD50 connector but it has been updated recently to include SD300 connectors.

Thanks.

So is the PCE02 a 'should have' item for 12 sp DI2 ownership or merely a luxury 'buy it if you want it but you don't really need it' type of unit?

I have long had a PCE1 that I used for firmware updates on my 9070 and 9150 components but never needed it for any emergency remedial work. I am going to be running rim brake 9250 so the shifters will be wired in to the rest of the system.

You do not need the SM-PCE02, except in case of corrupt firmware (and then you could just go to a bike shop).

Hello everybody,

I have a R9200-P powermeter.
Can you tell me how long a charge lasts?

My first charge lasted 3 months with about 70 hours of use.

How is it performing as a powermeter?

Random question incoming so apologies.

I was running DI2 with an internal battery but had an external battery and mount to hand so stuck that on a new build. I've now seen the crazy prices BTR2's are going for and probably shouldn't keep 3 for spare in my toolbox.

To check they still work what is the minimum requirement to charge them, can I simply plug them into a spare junction A I have and connect it up or does it need to be part of a full system?
