I like Sram Super Suede. It's quite easy to undo (if needed) and re-wrap.
Zipp CX tape have some gel and it cracks ( i noted while re-wrapping).
Sram RED tape tear if you re-wrap it.
Kind of like the Sram/ Zipp tapes as they match the hoods texture and color tone.
I don't need a high damping tape, i use MAP gloves and they are darn excellent :-)
Bikes:

Ax Lightness Vial EVO Race (2019.01.03)
Open *UP* (2016.04.14)
Paduano Racing Fidia (kind of shelved)

Ex bike; Vial EVO D, Vial EVO Ultra, Scott Foil, Paduano ti bike.

The SRAM super suede looks like the old Specialized Roubaix tape.

Visually they look alike. But there's no gel in Super suede

Got a few different suggestions, may as well try a few and see how I go. Thanks all!

Went back to plain old Deda Elementi "Logo" tape after messing around a bit with other stuff (Fizik, Lizardskins, etc.). It's cheap, light, easy to wrap, grips well in dry or wet conditions, and is durable and easy to clean.
+1
It stands out in the sea of many more expensive and heavier tapes :)

Was there gel in Roubaix tape? I used it for a number of years and I don't recall there being any gel in it. It was a relatively thin tape that I used to double wrap to get a thicker bar to hold.

Don't know, i don't use Specialized products.
But there's some info
Elastomer gel backing provides additional comfort and vibration damping

Oh, right. That's the thin bit of gel that many manufacturers are using to replace the old strip of tape on the back of bar tapes. Spec introduced that change after I stopped using Roubaix tape. It had no backing tape back when I was using it.

Any good tape recommendations that don't slip to support the forearms?

Haven't found one yet that holds whilst wet/sweaty, but both supacaz and lifeline pro are good up to that point.

I love my Silca Nastro Cuscino 2.5 mm tape. Very grippy and brilliant vibration damping.

I have the 3.75 mm on my gravel bike, but that's a pain to get into the bar ends and to put the plugs IMHO.
I believe Silca uses PEBAX on their tapes? Ive always wanted to try

I love Lizardskins, have the 3.2mm on my gravel bike

If you're in the EU another good option according to the TOUR magazine test would be the Rose Soft AR 2,5. Best price performance ratio in the test.

tesa tape is the GOAT but it wears badly, better to save for special occassions

i've been using Newbaum's black which are pretty light and wraps very thin, only thing is that the black dye leaks/wears quickly and turns brown with sun exposure, hand sweat, etc
