I used the KP253 and found it fitted fine. I did have to add a 2mm spacer between the cover and the stem which meant there was enough preload to prevent any play as I found the same thing as yourself without a spacer despite Cannondale's instructions stating that there is no need for a spacer.

This is the same as what I got. KP253, external diameter seems too small. It doesn't even cover the top of the head tube, leaving unpainted metal visible.

Overpriced? Sub 700€ for a frame that score the max on all stiffness measures and even great on confort?romanmoser wrote:i for one they let the caad die

For a guy/girl racing on circuits it’s a fantastic frame. Last time I saw a Cannondale with a BB problem that was 3 years ago…
I've never heard more rubbish about caadromanmoser wrote: ↑Mon Jul 24, 2023 3:17 pmi for one they let the caad die

Thanks, I have an elita one in 27.2 and 31.6 as well as a hylix 25.4 off my caad12, none of the carbon cradles matched and left a gap in U shaped dish. Also is there a nailed down weight on the CAAD13 disc frameset. I'm thinking about tearing mine down and having the painted removed. Im hesitant it won't be anywhere close to my 12 around 6.35kg. If I could get in under 6.8kg that would be fine.
