Somewhere in between "want it, but no plan" and "my current group is just fine."

That would depend on if they have corrected the problem with the FD dumping the chain inside outside the big ring. And also the battery tabs that seem to break off on the RD.

When I buy my next bike, equipped with AXS as OEM equipment. SRAM appears to have lined up a stable of manufacturers offering it as standard equipment. That should save money as compared ot buying it stand-alone.

waaaaaay to expensive to justify for myself. Bikeradar have quoted a price of £3,349 for the 2x HRD, which at current exchange rate is over $6000 Aus dollars. Not clear in the article, but this MAY (hopefully) be the price for the groupset with the powermeter.

After seeing & reading about eTap AXS, the original eTap started to feel like a classic piece of engineering where form & function meet and produce something special.

So no, I'm not going to even poke it with a stick.

I just bought previous gen eTap at a steal price. New stuff is esthetically challenged.

Yes, I will probably buy Force 1 AXS for my BMC Timemachine Road, that's good enough for me. But I want those sweet 1X aero gains.
