It did badly? Looks to be very stiff at 101Nm, bested by the S5 but with the stiffest Headtube and fairly competitive seatpost flex.
Focus Izalco Max - 4.84kg without pedals
Cervélo Áspero - 8.28kg
Trek Madone SLR Rim - 7.73kg
Standert Triebwerk Disc - 8.47kg
Cervélo Áspero - 8.28kg
Trek Madone SLR Rim - 7.73kg
Standert Triebwerk Disc - 8.47kg
All tests are on Zipp 404s with same tyres to make it fair.
2019 Cervelo S5 Disc was 3w SLOWER with its standard DT Swiss 50mm wheels.

I meant the one where they scored 3.0. Is that HT? Again, maybe Tour has a different standard than CDale which is why Tour penalized it but CDale wanted it.VTR1000SP2 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 18, 2018 11:28 pmIt did badly? Can’t wait to see how fast the non-disc System-Six is
the madone numbers don't make any sense. it goes from 204W rim brake version to 212W . can anyone translate madone test results.
Current Rides:
2023 Tarmac SL7 Di2 9270
ex 2019 S-works SL6
ex 2018 Trek Madone SLR Disc
ex 2016 Giant TCRAdvanced Sl
ex 2012 Trek Madone7

So... except for the new SystemSix, all of the fastest bikes are with rim brakes.ryanw wrote:All tested at 45kph on Zipp 404s:
And all 2016 rim brake aero bikes are faster than their respective 2019 disc versions.
It would be interesting to to see if a 2019 rim brake Madone would have improved over the 2016 one.
And it would be quite entertaining to see what would happen if UCI dropped the 6.8 kg weight limit now...

Got to have something to sell in the next product cycle, that’s likely when they’ll lower the weight limit and tell us we need rim brakes again.
