Became aware that the frame interface mounting plate is only adapted for Di2, not EPS. For the time being the mechanic screwed the EPS plate on top of the mounting plate, but in the long run I would like to "clean" that up.

Do you guys know if Look makes a frame mounting plate specific for EPS?

My EPS interface is sat in the bar end, why not do that, much nicer in my opinion

I find it to be much more exposed and also find it easier to access the charging port on the frame. I also want to use Muc-Off Stealth Tubeless Puncture Plugs on the bar ends and beyond all this, I've bought the cable set for the frame mount option and putting it on the handlebar would force me to buy a new cable set.

Bad news! :( My mechanic just call me saying that the Campy P2Max PM touches the BB shell and it doesn't fit :(

Ok. I'm now at a crossroad and I welcome any thoughts about the following:

1. Easton or Rotor crankset that will match 12s EPS. This will probably be cheaper and lighter than the next 2 otpions bellow and it will save me money to buy PM pedals.

2. Record crankset. The bike will be full SR. Fitting an entirely different crankset brand (Rotor or Easton) will eventually makes "more sense" than downgrading to a Record cranset based on price alone, but the SR crankset will cost me twice as much  as a Record one. It does come with a 90g saving because of the titanium axle and hollow carbon but I'm finding it hard to justify the price diference. Record crankset will also save me some money compared to SR to invest in some kind of power meter.

3. Respect the built and fit an SR crankset.

Any other option that I'm forgetting here is very welcome!

What do you guys think?

@naavt - SR/R crankset and Assioma Duo pedals?

You can recover the system weight by going with a lighter phone case or some small hanging fruit - lighter house keys - CF key chain etc.

Speedplay user here!

The bike is almost finished and I'm trying it out tomorrow.

Bits to finish:

1. Frame EPS plate for interface
2. 3D printed stack spacer to unify bottom headspacer and integrated handlebar

3. Crankset. For now I've fitted my Campy Centaur 4-arm cranks with SR 12s chainrings.

Bike weights 7,940 with 303s, Michelin 25 powercups with 40ml sealant in each tire.

I'll probably go the Easton route just trying to shed some weigh. Probably getting around 7,700g with Easton cranks

gorgeous build, congrats!

I vote for getting the SR12 crank and buy some power meter pedals.

When it's finished  for now it still has chimney, Centaur crankset and the spacers are not done (3D). I'm also going to change stikers in the handlebar for a more subtle finish and swap the white handlebar tape. First ride and they already show dirt marks

With much sorrow, I'm going to sell my P2Max NG Campy Movistar edition :(

Will any bar/stem work with integrating the cables?
