I usually put a steel ruler behind the shifters (minus the rubber hoods) on top of the bars and then measure the distance to the straight part of the bars at each side.

I also initially had problems with my Campagnolo shifters slipping at the low torques. They would be fine until I rode over a pothole and then they would shift down a few mm... Eventually solved by applying a coat of laquer to the bars at the place where the shifters go, letting it dry, sanding it a little and then using carbon paste. They've been completely solid now for 2 or 3 years.

Did get the warratied clamp today and its on the bike. A tad heavier that the original. The original came in at 3.8 grams. This one is 4 even. Maybe enough material to work and last?

Just noticed Darimo doesn't have the Nexum barstem combo on their website anymore, I wonder if they perhaps have ceased producing them?

I think custom items are always on the table depending on how light/strong/sizing etc. you want. Just email them and ask.

Any long term reviews of the seatpost (non wire/string)? Looking at the SL7 seatpost to lose some weight. Worth the money?

I only rode my bike once with the original seat post, had the Darimo a year now and it's been great, glad I bought it. I have not touched the seat the whole time since initial setup.

I can't remember the weight saving but it was good for a seat post.

Ooh that is pretty. Now you have me debating the 3k weave over the UD, that thing is a thing of beauty. Did you weigh it by any chance?

What size stock seat post is that and what size Darimo do you buy? And does anybody know if Darimo recommends cutting the seatpost? Not sure what length I need.

Lance the off the shelf post from Darimo is 350mm and my post is 120G found the tag in the box yesterday, this post is also rated for 90kgs.
If you email them at info@darimo.eu
There are actually instructions for how to measure up for the right lenght post as the posts cannot be cut.
They can on request manufacture custom lenghts and increase seatpost strenght if anyone is over 90kgs.
They will email you a link once this is all confirmed to pay
